Best for Android phones
Before I get Chipolo, I already tried apple AirTag and Tile. Of course AirTag not work with android phones , I returned same day. Tile worked only one day with no problem, next day it started loosing connection and end of the day completely lost it, I tried factory reset and reinstalled app , nothing helped, finally Tile went to return like AirTag. I have a Chipolo about a week right now and it works both ways phone to Chipolo and Chipolo to phone with no issues. Don’t expect gps real time location from Chipolo, it is not gps device, it is Bluetooth , it is work perfect when you lost your key or phone at home, yard or car , it will show on the map where you left Chipolo , but again it is not gps device, if someone take it you not able to track the Chipolo in real time. So I keep Chipolo, it works for my needs , when I can’t find my key or phone in garage or under the blanket on the couch, it is playing really loud music and here they are.

Husband was constantly leaving his wallet at home, this fixed it!
I bought this primarily bc my husband would often drive off without his wallet. He would get to the store, at chekout, and have the audacity to have me call out the credit card number so he coud pay. In this day and age that is scary! So, I researched what to get that would be a reminder so if he left the house he would be notified. Granted, alerts come on your phone, and he has forgotten his phone, as well, but at least this works on the wallet, and I got a bundle so we could have two on our key fobs. It has worked remarkably well! By the time he gets to the end of our street the little alarm goes off to notify him that it was left behind. I like that it slides down in the wallet and is hidden and that we don't have to pay for a subscription. Other companies require a subscription to alert you if you leave something behind. So far so good. We have had them for about a month and they have already saved his bacon a couple of times. It is nice if you leave your keys/fob somewhere that you can locate it with your phone. If you or someone you love has ADHD, and loses and leaves things behind, this is a lifesaver.

Probably the best android tracker package on the market so far, but they still have ways to go.
My requirements for bluetooth trackers were straight forward: a tracker that 1) has user-replaceable batteries, 2) doesn't charge me a ongoing subscription for a basic feature that doesn't require it, and 3) respects me as its owner (privacy, controls). I decided to go with chipolo because they seemed like they could satisfy all three of my requirements. Now that I had a chance to use them for a couple of days, I can comment on whether they kept their promises or not. First let's go over the good then the not so good. The good: - They work. (Don't roll your eyes. This isn't a given like it used to be.) - They don't require an ongoing subscription to work, unlike one of their competitors. - They will continue to work fine without an active internet connection after the initial setup (so far). - Two of the three trackers use normal, user-replaceable batteries as promised. - They will send emails to notify you if your app goes offline for more than 24 hours. - Analytics can be turned off. The less-than-good: - The "GET AN ALERT WHEN YOU LEAVE THINGS BEHIND" feature appears to depend solely on your phone knowing your location and a periodic tracker connection check; that is, the chipolo app periodically records your phone's location and whether it can connect to the tracker. If your phone changes its location and it can't connect to your tracker then you get alerted. Works great if you're moving horizontally, provided you move far enough for the chipolo app to register that your location has changed, but it doesn't seem to work if you move vertically. I left my tracker 4 floors above me and the chipolo app did not notify me. - Contrary to their claims, Location, Nearby Devices, and Physical Activity Permissions are all absolutely required to use the device as advertised. Fortunately, the app doesn't seem to require a constant internet connection to work, so you can use a firewall app like netguard to prevent the app from constantly sending your location to strangers. - One of the three trackers has a non-replaceable battery. Users are expected to throw it away once the battery runs out. - Requires you to sign up to their service via email or google before you can use their with no way to skip. Have no idea how customers in remote locations will be able to set up their app. - Analytics is enabled by default despite the company stating they respect my privacy. All in all, I'll probably order more once I'm confident these will continue to work without internet access, but I'll immediately switch to a competitor that can address chipolo's shortcomings.

Easy set-up. Good sound and small size to hide in compartments of an e-bike.
