We purchased a Whatever Pan earlier in the year but had no occasion to use it until recently. The pan is excellent but we soon discovered that the handles, understandably, got very hot in use, hence our purchase of the silicone handles. They slip over the existing handles and make the pan easy and safe to use. Excellent!

These are a must have for cast iron hot pot pots.Very handy to have, just slip over the handles.Invaluable.

These were bought together with a 'Jean-Patrique' griddle pan. They are a perfect fit on the two handles and give a good grip.. I recommend them when using this type of pan. The mistake I made was putting them on the pan before I started cooking and when I came to move the pan they were too hot to hold. So don't put them on too soon.

These are just what I needed - much safer and more convenient than grabbing a cloth to lift a lid.I don't know what a "whatever pan" is but they pop onto the side handles of my lovely big skillet or over stainless steel saucepan lid handles. They don't get hot if left in situ while in use and can easily be swapped around to different handles (or I could buy another pair). I've only used them on the hob. I don't think it would be advisable to use them instead of oven gloves!

We have stroggled to lift large heavy saucepans from the oven with oven gloves. These silicone handle are so easy to use and clean

Used these for the first time last night and they were pretty pointless to be honest. They still allowed heat from the metal handles of the pan through to the point I could not really touch them!
