The clips that hold the shelf in place a too small and don't stay in place, pop off and you have to chase them. I needed a second person to hold them in place until all for poles were ready to put the shelf on. Otherwise good quality.

clearer directions for shelf facing up or down would have been helpful

Amazon description showed 30" wide, didn't notice that the description lower down in the text showed it was 24" wide. Disappointed, but decided to keep it and make it work. Otherwise, really good quality, easy to assemble and looks good.

This shelving unit was slap-easy to put together, especially as this shelving employs a fairly common design.We have a pantry cabinet where we had a lot of unused space in the bottom, so we purchased this shelving unit to provide for evenly spaced shelves that take up the whole space. This is perfect for items like canned goods. Also useful is that the shelves have minor edges so cans don't slide off easily.It was nearly miraculous that the shelving fit perfectly into the space -- perhaps as if both my cabinet and this shelving unit had the same standard dimensions? But what made it work is that I pre-measured the space, and compared it to the dimensions reported for the shelving unit (which were very accurate), and when installing, all I had to do was move up a roll-out shelf one notch to accommodate this shelving unit. It looks fantastic, and like it naturally belongs in there!The instructions are very easy to follow, although one has to be careful with the plastic shelf adjusters to ensure they snap into place at a groove, and that as you lower the shelf onto the adjusters, you're careful that the shelf grips the adjuster tightly enough without damaging the adjusters. This is my way of saying that the plastic adjusters, while capable, are cheap plastic. But that doesn't mean they don't work -- just that you need to be careful. A saving grace is that a couple extra adjusters are supplied in case you crack/break one.All in all, this is definitely a 4 1/2 star purchase for me. I take the 1/2 point off for the cheap plastic adjusters.

If you are searching for inexpensive shelving, don't even bother looking at particle board shelves (the cheap ones from Target, IKEA, etc.)! These shelves look nicer and are sturdier. Right now I'm using these shelves next to my desk for video game consoles and my mail inbox. My parents have a larger version with wheels that they've used for years to store electronics/old TV.Pros:-Very easy to put together, took me less than 30 minutes. My shelves are pretty straight with little adjustment. Taking them apart looks simple, and if needed I can store them in a flat box.-Matches most decors, blends in.-Very sturdy (won't sag like particle board)-They seem durable so far. Once I upgrade my furniture I can see them being used in a closet or the garage (multipurpose!)-This size is lightweight, easy to move-Adjustable shelves-Space between wires is small enough that most small/thin objects should not slip through.-Feet are adjustable so if your floor isn't quite level you can make the shelves level.Cons:-I wouldn't call them "pretty." They are rather industrial-looking. But they do the job and they don't look ugly or cheap.-If you are using this as a bookshelf, you will need some bookends because there are no sides-There were some pieces in the box that were not listed in the instructions. They may be wider feet for carpets? I'm not sure what to do with them.-Depending on what you want to use these for, an extra shelf would be nice if you are only storing short items.If I need more shelving in the future, I'll definitely consider this brand (Whitmor) again.

This shelf is as described and easy to assemble in less than five minutes. I bought two of the 24" wide shelves. They can hold very heavy objects and are also very easy to disassemble. I also want to mention that I had to contact the manufacturer because one of the two shelves came with only three out of four leveling feet. The call to the company, through the "contact" button on Amazon, was VERY easy. I was on hold for less than 30 seconds and the customer service agent who answered my call was able to take my shipping info and product number and ship out a new foot within a few days. While the missing part was not ideal, I would have no hesitation to order another shelf from this company.

Shelf is a little hard to assemble but once you have everything set up it is a sturdy shelf. I am giving it 3 stars because the shelves definitely do not hold 200lbs each, I have 50lbs on the middle shelf and the bottom of the shelf has started to sag.

Easy to assemble, even if some of the collar pieces were a bit finicky, and I appreciate that it is not very tall or visible for where I have it for it’s purpose. It’s serving as a simple gym rack and bearing up well under an altogether 190 lbs. this way I can access my weights and other workout accessories so much easier, in a subtle location next to the treadmill. Have to work-off all the pandemic baking projects that found themselves onto my waistline!

This is an ideally sized, shelving unit for small areas. Went together quickly and the adjustable feet are perfect for unlevel floors, like in my art studio. I already had 3 other sizes of this type shelf in the studio, but I wanted to make better use of a small corner that had a wall outcropping. That all the shelves can be adjusted at the time of building the unit makes these storage shelves the perfect solution for organizing varying sizes of materials. Utilitarian, lightly industrial, affordable.

I use it for my receiver, turntable and tape deck.Easy to assemble and very good quality.

At first I was confused but all you have to do is screw in the 2 different sets of poles together then the plastic straps things say top so stuck a breeze so happ make my kitchen have so much more room.
