Great stand and dock
I bought this mainly because I wanted to use my iPad Pro with music programs like Amplitube, AmpKit, and some of the Korg Synthesizer apps. With just the one USB-C port, I needed to be able to input sound signals, output sound, and plug in a music keyboard. So far, so good with playing sound out through the headphone port on this. I have yet to test hooking my Apogee Jam to the iPad using the USB-A port so I can hook my guitar up. If I have any issues, I will update my review. But for now, I'm giving it 5 stars because it works great as a stand (no stability issues), and it has all the ports that I can foresee needing.

Great hub for ipad pro!
I see a lot of bad reviews here but want to show some positivity as this is a very great product. This is able to charge and display my ipad pro with no fail. I don’t understand why people say it doesn’t work. Plus the design is very elegant and versatile. Docked or just simply using it as a dock for my laptop. If i were to pick on this product is that I would want the usb cable to be easily replaceable so I can use a longer cable.

Good Product with Recommended Setup
Starting out, I want to inform that my review is 4 stars for something that doesn’t seem to be a recurring issue. My main gripe with this product right off the bat (as pictured) is that no matter what I do, I cannot get the screen to fill up. On other dongles, I can get it to where there are no bars on the top an bottom, just the sides. Which is expected because of the aspect ration of the ipad. But on this one, there are bars all around the screen on my monitor. I tried auto adjusting my monitor and every other trick in the book but nothing seems to work for it. But let me go over the large amount of pros with this product. The number one thing is build quality. Although I would not suggest just spending $60 on something that you can’t feel before you buy, I can assure you that quality material is not an issue here. The majority seems to be some kind of sturdy aluminum or something if I had to guess. There are silicone grips in all the right places. This includes where the ipad rests and on the bottom to reduce slipping. And the stand has an adjustable slide for any sized usb c tablet.Another pro about this product is the amount of IO on it. I can fit a ton of items in it and they all work perfectly. I even plugged in my keyboard and mouse and it works. Although I recommend a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse so you have 2 extra usb A ports. My ideal recommendation for setting this up would be the following:- A fast charging USB-C cable which should come with your device. Although I would recommend getting a nice long braided cable for aesthetics and quality purposes.- An HDMI cable of course. Just so you can plug it into a monitor for the best experience.- A pair of high quality speakers to plug into the 3.5 mm jack. Any pair of speakers should be better than the ones on the ipad tho for any sort of media consumption.- There is an included SD card reader for micro SD cards and standard SD cards for you photographers. Which the fact they included both is super clutch.- A high quality USB mic for one the USB A ports. I have a blue yeti personally. But that’s a little overkill I think for this setup.- The last USB A spot I tend to leave open for any random things I need to plug in. I’m sure you could plug in a controller, a USB stick to transfer files, and a handful of other things. Leaving it open is just a nice convenience. With this setup it will be super easy to replace your current laptop without a doubt. Not to mention that iPad OS is going nowhere but uphill. Not to mention that I typed out this whole entire review out on this setup and it’s been very enjoyable. I’ve used it for about a week at this point and I really enjoy it a lot.I hope this review helped you guys out in making your purchase. And it there are any other questions you have about the product you can always check out the Q&A section because there is a lot of valuable information there.

good quality, perfect design for ipad
The originally I bought this USB HUB as a gift for my friend. He uses the iPad Pro for work. I saw this USB HUB supports multiple functions. Actually, I bought a stand before, but the iPad Pro slides off easily. This USB HUB keep my iPad Pro on the table and charge it at the same time, which I'm happy with that. It is also convenient to read hard drive and memory card. The cable is also sufficient to be used with iPad Pro, and the angle of view won’t make my neck feel tired. It can be connected to the drawing board, and I do some simple design with it. It has a lot of features and is enough for my daily use. I'll buy another one for my friend.

NOT for iPad pro users! Buyer beware!
IPAD PRO 2018-2020 USERS READ: I own a 2020 iPad pro and wanted a versatile, quality, multipurpose stand for it so I could import files and have overall a better quality of life experience with my iPad. However, there is definitely a flaw in this product's advertising as it states this hub is compatible with the new iPad pros and when I went to plug the hubs USB-C port into my iPad pro (also USB-C) it would not physically fully enter and connect into my iPad rendering the entire hub completely useless. I thought all USB-C ports were the same but I guess not. In this case, I found this is because on the hub's USB-C port, if you look inside the port itself it is ridged and has little bumps around the entire inside edges of it whereas on the iPad, it's smooth all around on the inside of the port and it won't accept or cennect this hub any more than 3/4 in as a result. I almost want to blame apple for this inconvenience though, because all of my Samsung devices work flawlessly with this hub but the catch here is they all have an internally smooth type C port as well as the iPad...so there's something about the iPad's "type c" port that doesn't like this product and I'd beware of buying other type c third party products for your iPad also for this reason.Aside the iPad connectivity issues, this is a super solid product and I still plan to keep and use this product, therefore giving it a close three stars. I have a ton of other type c devices that I can put this hub to good use for and one last thing I wanted out of this product was a stand for my iPad that was solid and wouldn't give or wobble around any when I would touch my iPad while docked. I wanted to make sure I had a stand that would stand the test of time so I bought this as well as the Humixx iPad pro stand that strictly advertised stabilization when touching your iPad while docked. Well come to find out, the Humixx stand is (1) way too huge, (2) uglier in person, and (3) has no stabilization and wobbles horribly when using my iPad! The Byeasy stand however, matches the space gray iPad colorway perfectly, is perfect size, and lastly this thing has superior quality and is extremely stable while in use. My iPad doesn't wobble or shake at all when I'm using it docked. So not all is bad and I'm still gaining great use from this stand, I'm just going to use it without the hub itself attached to it for my iPad, and use the hub with my other type c electronics.
