Spellbinders Platinum 6 Inch Platform Cutting Machine + Die, White

My order came the next day and comes with a cute die! This is an excellent manual machine. It cuts very nicely, even detailed dies, folds to a compact size when not in use, easy to carry with a handle on the top. The plate system is straightforward, so it's easy to go from die cutting to embossing, either dies or folders (no flipping tabs on the platform open, etc). Experiment if using 3D embossing folders are they all seem to be a different thickness. Recommend rotating your cutting plate to extend the life of the plate (I use one plate to cut into and the other I keep clean. Plates are readily available on Amazon and Spellbinder. I plan to use this machine a lot as the electric machines require an outlet nearby, so I can use this anywhere. I got this to replace a Sizzix electronic machine whose motor is failing. I was reluctant to get a hand-crank machine because I thought it would be hard to turn the crank, but it's much easier than I expected it to be. The handle turns smoothly and so far it's doing a great job cutting both simple and intricate dies. I've had to do several pass-throughs for some of the really detailed dies, but this is not unexpected. So far I've only tried the clear plates so I can't comment on the rubber plates. In addition to die-cutting, the machine did a beautiful job on a 3-D embossing folder, so I'm happy with my purchase.

I love this machine. I can review it before actually using it because I had a sizzix one that unfortunately finally gave up on life after more than a decade of use. I was relieved to see that this came with the plates as it doesn't state in the description that it does. If you make a lot of cards, this is a must have.

I love this little tool. It performs wonderfully. When you're done using it, you fold the panels up and it stores in a small space ready for it's next use. I watched the Jennifer McGuire YouTube tutorials, and she made making embossed cards looks so easy with this little machine. I had not expected that it would indeed be so easy with this little tool; anyone can do it. I keep being surprised at the end results. Loving it and very happy with my purchase, as you can probably tell.

Wow - this is so easy to use, providing such amazing results. I love the sleek look with the white and bronze. The plate has directions printed on it. The compact design and how quickly you can pack it up and set it aside, then pull it out and have it ready to go is just fantastic. Wish I hadn't waited so long to order one! Had three cards made with die the provided within 30 minutes!

Cuts with one pass ! That said, because of the pressure the plates really warp. Seems like this machine is going to be a work horse so I'm watching all the videos to see how to keep them flat. Would recommend 😁

I wish it had better suction cups on the bottom and I wish it had a handle I could hold onto when cutting. The handle collapses into the top so there is nothing to really hold besides wrapping your whole hand around the machine. But as for cutting and doing the job it's intended to do, it's great. Small and compact for those of us who have limited space to craft.

i like that this machine is sturdy... and takes up less space when you fold it up.. what i don't like is the handle sticks out .. when its folded up... i had a bigshot foldaway.. and the handle was able to be turned inward when folded by the push of the button. Overall. i like this die cutting machine.

Mejor de lo que esperaba, pesada y eso esta bien porqie le da estabilidad, incluye todo para empesar a trabajar, con manija de metal y es perfecto ya que le da durabilidad , mejor que las otras marcas. Yo la compre porqie qieria la crucut rosa y ya no la pude comprar y buscando en amazon encontré esta , y cuya fue mi suerte que esta a un super precio. Diseño hermoso y por lo que he buscado la mejor que hay. Sus suajes son hermosos y no son tan caros , recomiendo al 100 ,en cuanto pueda compare la grande

Really a great die cut machine. I have spent many hours playing with this bigger machine. Have decided to make purchase of this machine after buying Sizzix side kick just to compare and see how other Brands perform as to Sizzix. Did not receive the metal die set that comes this machine but I really love compact size of this machine. Thus, I keep this machine with a small discount offered Amazon Sg. Love love the Spellbinder Platinum 6. Works perfectly and die cuts very nicely. It looks very nice and having the fold up sides means it stores away easily. Highly recommended.

I received my Platinum 6 several weeks earlier than I expected. It was well packaged with easy instructions to install the handle. I love the small footprint and that I do not need hydro to use it. It came with a wonderful die, so that I could immediately use the machine. Everything you need is there in the package. The platform clearly indicates how to layer and the booklet gives additional information. I was so pleased that the warranty could be extended from one year to 5 years simply by completing the required information online
