There isn't a lot of information of this but I pierced my own ears with a sterile needle/clamp kit I purchased from amazon. I work for a corporation so I can not have jewelry showing at work, also I did not have 4-8 weeks to take off to allow surgical steel studs to remain in while healing. I used a 14 gauge needle along with a pair of these. I have had the same pair in now for over 2 weeks using a saline solution to clean them twice a day. They are very comfortable, hard to see and they have been healing perfectly. The puncture wound has not stuck to the material at all. I will continue to use them as retainers after they are healed. I highly recommend for this purpose.

They were just fine. The O rings slide off every now and again, but other then that. It a good product

Fits well. The length is great. Comfortable fit however if you use these for lip ring studs be prepared to easy several of these like I did lol. The end pieces pop off while your eating or talking and the next thing you know bam it's gone.

These are AMAZING. I have to have retainers for work and I had heard some things about these. The stud is super easy to get in--slightly more rigid than the last ones I tried, and the tops are easy enough to get on. I was hesitant about the rings not staying on but they stay put just fine. They even stood up to me forgetting they were there and eating with them in, multiple times. They do stick out a little like a stud would, but they're clear and unless you're looking for them they're mostly unnoticeable. Great job, whoever made these.

Got these for my daughter's helix piercing to wear during sports. They fit well and are easy for her to take in and out. They are really long so we were able to cut it down to the perfect size for her. When she is wearing them you can't see them even with her hair in a ponytail unless you are specifically looking for them.

Kind of a foggy looking plastic and the flat end for inside the mouth isnt really flat.. More blunt than id prefer.. But the good part is that you could easily trim these down to fit your lips thickness if u didnt want to wear the cap peice.. Good to have on back up if you often need to hide the peircing..

These were exactly what I wanted them to be, less noticable than regular lip studs. The downsides: they were longer than ideal for my snakebites, so I often used them backwards so they didn't scratch my gums.

I bought these because there was suddenly a new policy at work requiring there to be no visible facial piercings of any kind. I refused to take my medusa and labret out after having them for over a year, so I bought these after looking at some reviews. First of all, they are held on by this tiny flimsy little o-ring. Basically useless. The slightest jostle and they fall off. I've already had the back of the studs in my mouth multiple times for this reason. Second, they aren't clear by any means. They're white. They're still noticeable, especially because they just come to this weird point and stick out a lot farther than it would need to if it had a different type of end to hold them on. Third, they're uncomfortable asf. No matter how loose I try to keep them, the backs still dig into the inside of my lips painfully. I would give these zero stars if I could. They're awful. Cheap and awful and useless. Don't waste your money.
