I really like these labels! They stick well, and if you use a little scraper tool (I have one called the lil chizler...will post link below) they aren't too hard to get off of smooth surfaces like plastic storage bins. The "chalk" marker that these come with are awful for the finish of the stickers. The paint will just flake off once dry. However, this has been true for every single label/chalk marker set I have ever bought in my entire life. I found that using a SILVER SHARPIE MARKER works 1000000000 times better and looks basically the same as white marker does. I like the labels themselves, they’re a little bit stretchy and rubbery and very pliable to any jar or container. My problem is the pen, you have to shake it every time and press hard in order to get a nice heavy white look. After a couple of uses, The Penn color starts to fade a bit. It does wipe off with just water and dries nicely with a paper towel so you can reuse them over and over again. The other problem I encountered is I had a few of them in an open cupboard above my electric tea kettle and the steam was making the writing run. If your hands are wet and you grab the label accidentally, you will smudge or wipe off the White marker. I find that every time you lift up the marker it leaves a dot mark which doesn’t look very nice on your label.

Buying this was a complete waste. The chalk doesn't stay and easily wiped off and/or runny. I thought it would be better after sitting overnight or for a few days but no, the ink has not stayed in place. To fix, I've had to get a labeler and place a label on top of the sticker. The stickers also don't hold on cloth/wicker baskets. I have not had a fix for this and refuse to try any other labels from Amazon. This was a total disappointment.I'm using the product for pantry organization. I used on World Market glass containers, and cloth baskets. It's been almost two weeks (my how time flies) since I first opened the box and used.

My package was torn, and there was no pen. Amazon very kindly fixed this issue, and I purchased pens from another seller, but this is for the labels only.As for the labels themselves, they seem great! They stick really well. Make absolutely sure that's where you want it before you let go because it's going to stay where you put it! I honestly have no idea if they're removable or not.They took the ink from my chalk marker just fine. They even took a light mark from a standard piece of chalk. They do not have the texture of chalkboard. At least not the green ones I grew up with. But it's exactly the look I wanted.

I'm unsure what the "waterproof" reference means. Just letting you know that if the label gets wet after you have used the pen on it, even once its dry, or even days later, the ink will run and get messy. Used these on bottles, the drink had some condensation. The writing became all smudged up and messy. A bit disappointed and trying to figure a solution to the problem.

The stickers are all 1 shape 1 size. You can cut it smaller or a design of your choice of cut. You can use paint markers on the sticker to have different color but if you make a mistake you can’t erase it. I tried chalk markers and it didn’t work at all. It does come with it’s own white marker which if you make a mistake you can erase and fix your mistake but if you try to reapply it won’t stick as nice.

The labels are great easy to use . I haven’t tested how they will stand up to being washed but it seems to me they will stay in place since they are waterproof and stick well .The chalk pen is useless , too messy and can’t be used to write something clearly . I used a metallic silver marker pen instead like one customer review recommended . It worked really well . It is permanent ink in which case I can easily change the label if I need the container for something else .

I love the quality and of these black vinyl chalkboard labels. The matte finish is elegant, and the lettering lights up perfectly using Sharpie Metallic colored markers. The white marker that comes with it work if you follow the instructions on the marker, but the Metallic Sharpies work better and come in gold, silver, and bronze.
