Troll 2 [VHS]

Back in the 1980s filmmakers were fond of imparting lessons to the movie-going public. Both Teenwolf and The Karate Kid dealt with themes around the importance of being yourself, while Labyrinth extols the virtue of not being a spoilt brat, while Transformers the movie stresses the importance of not delegating anything to Ultra Magnus because he's really rubbish.With Troll 2, you have three lessons for the price of one. Although, I hasten to add where everyone has been going wrong with this film is in thinking it's aimed at humans. Troll 2 is aimed at cats and proof of this is the three lessons it imparts.These are: number 1 - always eat meat, number 2 - never trust a man offering you free milk, and number 3 - if ever you find yourself in a tight spot, urinate everywhere.For cats, this film is immense. For humans however, this film does for horror movies what the karate rap does for hip hop.

Subtle performances and delicate concepts amount to a tense, classic horror in which a city family is terrorised by the inhabits of a village.

Refer to the title of this review.Much as Troll 2 doesn't have a single troll in it, so my review title is also deceptive.But for real, get a friend or two together, get some alcohol, and have fun! :)

So bad it's brilliant. Atrocious acting and directing and risible special effects. Second only to The Room as the best Worst Film Ever.

This is simply astonishing ! Such combination of bad acting, top of the trash special effects and very hillarious plot can only be seen in this movie. I wouldn't classify it as horror but as comedy. If you want to laugh and be amused, and have a one-life movie experience buy this and show it to all your friends ! I am pleased to have it and to watch it every day !!!

Doesn't deserve the label "best worst movie", I though was great in own right. It very funny, and the Troll Queen is genius.
