USMLE Step 1 Made Ridiculously Simple 6th Edition

Arrived on time and a very helpful study guide so far!

Easy to understand, made me recally easily the topic

For those who don't know, USMLE Step 1 is United States Medical Licensing Exam. Second year medical students have to take this exam (and pass it) upon completion of their second year in order to be able to go on rotations in their third and fourth years in Medical School.Unlike other licensing exams which really just need a passing grade. The USMLE is different because it is also given a grading with a percentile rank. Different specialties in medicine have different levels of competitiveness. For example, general practitioners such as family medicine, pediatricians and such don't have extremely high competitiveness to match into their specialities where as highly-specialized fields need high USMLE scores such as neurosurgery, otolaryngology, dermatology and other fields.This book is a decent book for review of those concepts which the USMLE heavily tests. It is very imperative to review these concepts in order to do well on this exam which requires quick and thorough thinking about complicated medical material.I believe it also comes in quite handy when reviewing big concepts because its able to reduce them down to one or two words about it the topic at hand which is extremely important as the USMLE is a timed test so one needs to be able to draw on material quickly.It is important also to note that this should not be your only review source, you need to be able have First Aid and Pathoma, those are my two heavily recommended USMLE books.

Just okay. Everything is "jumbled and trequires the reader to actually decipher. Too time consuming, and bothersome. if I had my choice I would ahve purchased another Step I resource instead.

The best for review. Well organize and excellent structure for a quick and simple review. Its structure allows remind all key concepts. I loved it!

great and very easy to read

At times it is made a bit too simple, but it is a good reminder guide. Can't really learn from it. Need the bigger version of the USMLE 1 for that. But I use both and it has helped.
