Was very excited for this bar. Bought it several weeks ago in preparation for a work trip. Finally got a chance to bring it out and set up. Upon trying to break it down, one of the pins to secure the bar’s adjustable length broke. The bar in itself is super sturdy, well made. Sucks that the screw would be made so poorly. Tried reaching out to the company regarding a replacement piece but they say they “can’t locate my order”.

I bought the Hakeno pull up bar at a discount. Amazon only said it would come in a damage package but the product was like new. Well, it is like new but there are no instructions nor installation hardware. Can't find anything on YouTube/Google to help with installation. Thanks a lot! *Update: Found a video on YouTube. Got it nstalled and it was easy. It's for my TRX and I'm sure it will work just fine. Still bothered it didn't come with instruction. That's kind of key.

this slipped on my door frame. i weight 260 lbs. still use it to stretch out.

Put up according to instructions so tight that wood was groaning. Husband pulled himself up and it immediately fell off. Almost sent him to ER. Dangerous product, would definitely not recommend!

Doesn't hold my weight and I'm 210lbs.

Great pull up bar. Bought as a gift and they’re very happy with it.

The product itself works as intended but I had it installed on a door frame and on also in a corridor between two beams running upward to properly support it, unfortunately this tears the paint straight off of whatever surface you use and leaves marks in the striped pattern you can see on the sides. Most of the pull up bars that you see advertised with similar gravity based resistance can do this without damage, this was extremely disappointing.

Our return window has closed but when using it inside the house between the doors, it creates a lot of pressure which damaged our doors. If you don’t put the pressure then there is fair chance that it will comes down and you can harm yourself.
