Actually quite surprised at how nice these were
Actually quite surprised at how nice these were. They were a little long for me- I'm a 5'2" female weighing in at 111 ish lbs. They weren't too long below the knees so much as they were too long above the waist- they were pressing into my gut as I bent over so I just roll them down once or twice and viola! The fleecy padded knee areas are a huge bonus- nothing like having a horse torque his hoof into your knee as you're trying to work on him! The protect nicely. For those people who said the strings and clasps are cheap- YOU WANT THEM TO BE CHEAP! If a horse manages to catch a leg on your chaps you want the stings/clasps to give way so you can get free of the horse before getting sucked under him. Duh. The belt buckle is solid, the knife pocket is adequate and the magnet is generous. I don't see these lasting forever but I'm only using them to trim my own personal horses so they should last me a long time.

Leg straps are unusable for anyone that isn't 12 years old.
Seriously, I'm only a size 8 woman, and these leg straps don't go 1/2 around my thighs. The leather is thin but usable. The magnet works. But I will have to sew on or otherwise add my own legs straps to use this apron.

Farrier Apron
This apron was a great price and the leather was soft and flexible with extra padding around the knees. It was a nice surprise to find a small horseshoe nail magnet on the side. The only thing that I didn't like was that the waist sat up so high and it wasn't quite tight enough without looping the belt a bit (im approx. a females size 7/8). There were also small snap-on knee straps that seem very breakable... Haven't tried it out yet but I am excited to do so! Quite satisfied with it so far.

Good for the price.
I only do my horses so I can't speak for every day use but for me they are durable enough. Can't go wrong for the price.

Missing parts. Can't even try out
Missing the strap for the left leg, can't even use. Very very lightweight and flimsy

Good for once every couple months ferrier
Straps that hold the apron on are very cheaply made, plastic snap does not stay clipped. Decent for a beginner but not for someone who shoes often.

Very good apron.
I and my horses like the apron,,, feels good and protects me from sharp hoofs. Helps me trim with confidence.
