Style J Lady Grace Denim Skirt

I own six Style J denim skirts and love them all but this one is definately my favorite! Everything about it is just . . . perfect! I love the length, it falls to about mid-calf. I love the way the multi-panels are sewed together, it gives the skirt a nice full feel without it flaring awkwardly like some denim skirts do when they're full. The style is very flattering. Style J skirts are always quality made and this one is no different. You might pay a little more for Style J skirts but you get what you pay for. This skirt will last a good long time. Style J sizing does run small. I'm 34-26-34, 4'11 and 105 lbs. I usually wear a US size Small or size 4. In Style J skirts I wear a size 8! Going by their sizing chart listed with their skirts, I ordered a size 6 but, though it fit, it was a bit tight. Since then, I order all my Style J skirts in a size 8. I highly recommend this skirt! It's quality made and I think it will flatter just about any figure. An easy 5 star skirt!

Such a cute skirt. I tried the size 14, and it was too snug,returned. Then bought the 16. The waist is the size they say it is, but the larger size just didn't look good on me. I am 5'5 180. the 16 was just too much material and it looked bulky and unflattering on me. It came to about 4" above my ankles. Would look better on a tall thin woman as pictured. Shirts need to be tucked in to look right.I did like the medium weight jean material and the way they feathered the edge of the skirt.Something worth mentioning is that the waist is NOT stretchy, but the material on the rest of the skirt does stretch. I have gotten so use to comfortable expandable fitting skirts, dresses and pants, I felt claustrophobic in this skirt as the waist doesn't give at all.Had to return.

I cannot express how much I love this skirt, It is so soft, but yet well sewn and looking more like some of the over $100 ones I have seen in major department stores. I am 5ft 3inches and it is @ four inches above my ankle, perfection! The color is a soft blue and the pockets are high enough in the front to NOT interfere with any added hip bulk, also giving the skirt a smooth ride down the sides. The waist sits at the waist and not hip giving the appearance of a longer waistline. The stitching going down the skirt at intervals are flattering giving the look of a long, leaner appearance. The flair is just right giving a nice swing with movement but yet not looking like a western dancing 'outfit'. The size for me was on spot, hugging at the hip as I like it.I think I just talked myself into purchasing a back up, when one is being laundered!

Cute skirt, but the bottom flare is too "tent" like for me and did it not seem like washing would improve it. I had ordered up to a size 8 as recommended by other reviewers and it does run small but returned this skirt and ordered a longer a-line style to see if that resolves the awkward flared-out look. A pencil style might be a better choice, too, in order to eliminate the funny flare. The color was a darker dusty blue not a soft true blue. I am not a fan of stretch denim as it tends to sag and bag up and down but it is very difficult to find quality all cotton unless you pay $100 or more so I will see how this works out! :-)

I LOVE this skirt!!!! I am a size 4US...but like another reviewer said the sizes run small (depending where you want the skirt to sit). I ordered a size 8 like suggested (by the size chart I would of been a 6) and it was perfect! I am 115lbs, 5' 41/2', 351/2" hips, 251/2" natural waist (~3" above belly button). The length hits me about 4" from ankle and it perfect with tall boots. The waist hits at my belly button (~32" waist ...I didn't want it at my natural waist) which is what I wanted. Very flattering skirt. This skirt does have some stretch/give so its very comfortable and is not binding. I LOV LOVE this skirt!!! Will buy more Style J skirts!

Love the skirt but on recommendations of others sized up two sizes and it is a bit too big on me. That said, I love the style and have gotten tons of compliments. Given the belt loops I just use a belt to tighten it a bit. Very cute style and nice mid weight for AZ winters/fall/spring. Definitely too hot for summer though.

Definitely order up!! SO glad I did. I'm about a 10/11 ordered a 14, perfect! I've waited for 2 years for this skirt to be in a size besides 6! Love it, it's light, perfect length, flows well, can't wait to wear it out! I'm 5'5" about 165 pounds depending on the day, :) and it hits me above ankle but not the middle of my shin.

This skirt is well made. I’m 5’6” length just right. Through it in washer AND dryer as the waistline was a bit too big., buy like an inch. I typically wear a size 14. Not returning just using a belt! Very cute skirt,
