Yes, these will protect your hands while removing hot things from an oven. After using them for a few weeks, I decided to wash them. They came out wadded up and wrinkled, and I had to put a cast iron skillet on them to flatten them out.

This is all you need. We cook every meal from scratch in my household, and my husband does lots of complicated food things. He despises most potholders. The silicone ones that are unwieldy, etc.… But these are perfect. Use them, wash them, use them again… And when they fall apart, buy some more!

Was very satisfied with the thickness and heat resistance. Flexible enough to take a hot glass pie plate or loaf of French bread out the oven without being burned or even feeling warm. Haven't washed them yet, but if the dye is colorfast, I will be very happy with these. Plus the color fits with my kitchen décor.

These are simple and easy to care for pot holders. The color is a nice addition to my small white kitchen. I have no problem taking a hot and heavy Dutch oven off my gas stove top. I would recommend these. The price is right.

La parte interior (plateada) está hecha de un material resistente al calor, mientras que la parte externa (colores varios) es como de felpa de toalla, muy acolchonada y suave al tacto. Nunca se traspasa el calor de lo que sujetan a las manos, son muy resistentes y aislantes de temperaturas altas.La relación precio-calidad es excelente. Y todos los productos de DII para cocina son en general de muy buena calidad. Recomiendo este producto ampliamente y como un elemento básico en tu cocina.

I couldn't believe how many colours are available. I chose the perfect colour to go with my kitchen and I couldn't be more pleased. I don't like using oven mitts. I prefer these instead. It's odd that they give you three, but I guess two can be for your hands and one to use under a hot item removed from the oven. I would definitely repurchase, probably to buy as gifts.
