**Q: Is this thick durable glass ?**
A: Yes

**Q: can this vessel be used to brew kombucha? any issue with the chrome washer on the inside?**
A: I used it to infuse vodka and it was awesome.  No issues with the spigot and I have been very happy with the purchase.

**Q: Can you take the infuser out, and use it just as a drink dispenser?**
A: Yes u can use it without the infuser

**Q: what is the measurement to the very top with lid In the stand ? Making sure they fit under my cabinets before I buy 4 of them :)**

First, this drink dispenser is the best I’ve ever had, and probably the last one I’ll need to get. It’s sturdy glass, has a durable sealed spout, with a strong easy to move stand.Second, the company, Paddington Hill, has integrity. It arrived with a broken jar, so the company immediately sent me another one after I contacted them. Yes, it costs a few dollars more, but will last a lot longer.

I bought this to use for healthier drinks over pop or soda. I was surprised at how heavy the glass is and at the stainless steel ball valve spigot. I'm use to cheap plastic spigots.
