This is a good product for the price
I was a little skeptical about these. I’ve never had one. It’s really nice and it definitely helps.

Helps take tension off shoulders at bottom of ROM
I had poor form on bench press, as I used to flair my arms out, when I worked out as a kid. Ive been trying to correct that over the past couple years and Ive got it down pat now but it definitely took me a good couple years of bench pressing with DB/Barbell properly to correct it. When Im doing push ups though, like in my house, I tend to bang them out quickly and dont really focus on my form. So when doing push ups I find myself flairing my arms sometimes. This takes tension off the chest and transfers it to your shoulders ESPECIALLY at the bottom of the rep. This product helps me keep perfect form for my pushups and really helps me get extra reps when I elevate my feet to work incline. Keeps my arms and hands right in the perfect placement. When Im doing reps with it my chest really gets most of the tension and I can really feel my chest pecs being utilized way more then without it! When doing regular pushups, without elevating your feet, it doesnt really give as much spring because it seems the more weight you put on this brace the better it works. I really do like it and would recommend it to anyone. I wish I had this two years ago cause I may have been able to correct my form way earlier. I will not use this in the gym now though because I believe in slow controlled movements while weight training. Plus my weightlifting form now is really on point so its no longer even a question of needing it. Truth is Id only use it get a little inertia at the bottom of a bench lift and I dont want that cuz it sacrifices TUT and takes away gainz imo. I do pause sets at the bottom of my reps weight lifting and again the slow controlled movement yields more hypertrophy. HOWEVER when Im doing chest conditioning, ie push ups, this brace allows me to go nuts. I usually bang out 50-70 in a clip and now Im getting closer to a hundred push ups each set! The durability actually surprised the poo out of me as its really well made. I did bring it to the gym once. I decided to throw 2 plates on and bench 225 with it once for S&G's and it did make the lift easier. I can usually get 3 or 4 reps with that weight and the one time I used the brace with that weight I ended up with 5.5 almost 6 reps. Hope this info helps you make an informed buying decision. I get paid only by you hitting that like button if I helped! I was NOT compensated financially and did not receive this product for my free review so viewing your likes are my only motivation... again please hit that like if I helped you and I wish you the best on your fitness endeavor!

Material feels quality and it works as advertised
I'm a guy who works out in big oversized hoodies. I'm 6' 250 lbs and I ordered the 3x size only because they were out of the 2x and I really wanted one of these to try out on my heavy push days. I'm glad I ordered the 3x because it fits perfectly over my hoodie and it's very easy to pop on. The amount of pressure it takes off my shoulders when performing heavy incline and dips is amazing. I add this in towards the tail end of my chest/shoulders day and I can push through fatigue and really get some nice extra volume. Main thing thing for me is how much it's improved my quality of shoulder work after chest. If you're someone interested in the brand name mark bell one but are hesitant because of its price, try this one out it's certainly not cheap quality and so far I can say it's worth it.

This thing, to my surprise, works great!
I will start this review by saying I was skeptical. But, after using it, this thing works. I immediately added 20 pounds to my bench weight, and also let me drop the barbell lower. The XL size is the right width, but the arm bands are a little tight, and I am not a huge muscle bodybuilder guy. I tried the XXL, way too long.

Let's be real about this.
I bought this due to having cranky shoulders from years of lifting. First the pros: This is a good training aid in that it teaches you proper bench press form. It keeps you from flaring out your elbows (leading to cranky shoulders and wear and tear) and does allow you to lift heavier with good form. I'd recommend this as a good tool if you have bad shoulders or want to learn proper form. Now the cons: This is like using a bowflex machine with variable resistance. People criticize the Bowflex for using variable resistance and taking alot of the resistance off of the negative and this does the exact same thing. You can lift more with a Bowflex due to it being easier in the "hard parts" of the lift in that there is little resistance in the beginning of the movement, and this sling shot does the exact same thing. It takes away from the most important part of the lift: the negative or the stretch. The hardest part of the bench press is pushing off of the chest, but this is also where you gain your strength. The stretch part of the bench press is also important to hypertrophy. If you want to gain real strength and growth, bench without this. If you have bad shoulders or want to learn proper form, this is a good purchase. Otherwise, learn to push through the sticking points.
