Can you change the recording ?

Yes. Recording Step: 1. Press and hole the REC button(in the back) by using a sharp object or ballpoint pen. 2. When the LED lights up, the frame is ready for recording. Speak Clearly into the microphone(near the REC button). 3. Recording time up to 20 seconds. The red LED light will automatically turn off when up to 20 seconds. 4. You can re-record message by repeating the steps above.( NOTE: The previous message will be erased automatically after re-record a new message.)

When you need to change the batteries, will the recording be deleted?

No. The recording will be kept.
