I love this yarn
I love using this variegated yarn, so much easier than changing colors. Sometimes it changes mid row but I don't think it's really noticeable (see photos). It's soft and easy to work with.

I Mixed it With...
I had one skein of this cake and decided to make a cat bed for a local rescue group. I paired it with a DK weight chocolate brown yarn to give the blanket more cushion. Very cute result. TIP - as you use your cake and the sleeve gets loose, fold the paper and tape it. That will keep it tight around the yarn and keep the remaining yarn from escaping. See picture.

This is a somewhat light weight yarn
I do a lot of charity knitting, and wanted to try using yarn that had some wool in it, as well as being washable. Although this is labelled a 4 weight, it is on the light-side of 4, while I was hoping for a little-heftier 4. I'd call this a 3.5. I can use it, but just wish we had a better rating system. The delivery was, as usual wonderfully prompt.
