Used this on a couple of camping trips now. The straps take some getting used to working with but they seem to hold up well with the hammock.The hammock itself was a great deal when we ordered it certainly well worth the price. It is also taking me a bit to get used to using a hammock as this is our first year having one. I am sure anything else I could write would be general to most other similar hammock styles.Bottom line, We have two hammocks this year. One was a different brand/seller and actually cost 3x what this one did. They are both similar style and this one is better that it comes with the straps instead of ropes for tying to trees.

After doing a good bit of research and reading the reviews I settled on this hammock. I found "hunter gatherers" review very accurate and very helpful. This is what I was looking for to try out hammock hiking/camping. I paid $30 for the kit. The hammock is well made and very easy to set up and repack into the included bags. It took me less than 2 minutes to set the hammock up. It does stretch (as described) on first use. Taller people may not be able to lay diagonally in this hammock (as described by others). After stretching and adjusting I was able to lay in it diagonally . I found it comfortable. I am 5'9" 180 I lbs. I was able to repack everything in the included stuff sacks with ease.The hammock is ultra light but the straps and carabiners (which are great, easy to use and very heavy duty) are not ultralight. I think this hammock will be great for warmer weather backpacking and it is less than 1/2 the weight (and size) of my tent, tarp and stakes. I will add a mosquito net and bring my tarp in case of rain. As an introductory package, I don't think you can go wrong. I have been very pleased.

Great hammock for the price. Ordered because they came with the tree straps, which makes it super easy to hang up. My 8 year old is able to do it by himself. No complaints. Excellent price. Bought 4 more for birthday presents for kids' friends. Can't go wrong for the price.

Thrilled with these hammocks. Went back and bought two more. Super quick and easy set up, love the adjustability of the straps, kids love them and can set them up themselves for the most part.

Love this. Prefer for camping. Straps work extremely well. Hammock material seems like it may not hold up long term but it is very comfortable.

Well, I got this as a gift for Christmas, it claims to hold 400lbs. I am 300lbs, insert fat joke now. I have had this for four months and used it a dozen times or so. I was having a nice hammock nap, when the rope broke, dropping my petite self from 4 or 5 feet, flat on my back. The wind was knocked out of me as a wheezing sound was involuntarily escaping from my lungs. I laid there for about ten minutes. It worked great for a while, and it will be missed.

The hammock is pretty good, but buy it for the straps! They are amazing!

Haven't used the hammock yet but the straps are perfect!
