I've seen this movie a few times over the years and still enjoy watching about two buddies looking for dope and accidently get deported to Mexico and desperate to get back home agree to drive a van back to the States so they can get back in time for a gig , Unaware the van is made up of marijuana to be driven to Los Angeles with the police on their trail , picking up female hitch hikers stopping for a punk band competition with a great picture for the age and not bad sound just lacks a little bass for the sub woofer to kick in , Great Special Features , Interviews , deleted scenes , animated music video clip , Cheech & Chong's The Man Song , 2 Discs DVD & Blu Ray .

We already know this movie is a Classic! I have waited so long for it to come out on Blu Ray...it was worth the wait! The movie looks incredible on Blu but still keeps the "film" look to it. You can read so many signs and labels that were just complete blur on the DVD version. If you are a fan of Cheech and Chong, buy this Blu Ray! Its almost like experiencing the film for the first time, fabulous!

Forgot just how funny Cheech & Chong were back in the day. They created two very different dudes who play off each other and riff through a complete movie hysterically. Better than their albums because the sight of these two spewing their slightly moronic, yet boldly funny riffs on the hippie culture is delightful. Made me want to watch more of their flicks again.

It’s a classic movie so nothing to hate. I do hate that you rent a movie and get to watch it once in a 48 hour period. I believe I should be able to watch whatever movie I rent as many times as I want in that 48 hour period. I have been a prime member for years but there is more and more content on Prime video that I want to watch that I have to pay for and many times it’s older movies. I would not even subscribe if it weren’t free with Prime. And I am still befuddles why such a wealthy company had to up the price of Prime to $119. I think you should have grandfathered your loyal customers in at the $99 price point. I am no anti-amazon in any which way but I also wonder when is it enough?

Absolute incredible transfer, not blown up no screen movement but what appears to be a remastering of the original source material because this looks perfect, sound track is so much better.Not sure whats taking still smokin so long for the blu ray treatment.Get this a.s.a.p. I'm sure it will be super expensive to track down after it goes out of print.

Great video transfer of a classic hilarious stoner film. Director lou Adler (usually known for being a record producer) creates highly memorable sketch moments that are perfectly edited to maximize humor. We follow the befriending of two stoners...one Mexican the other half Chinese as they unknowingly drive a truck made out of marijuana and are in hilarious pursuit by the price. They make their msrk at s sunset strip battle of the bands. The use of music in this movie is genius the opening titles of low rider by war is still important and effective to this date. Watch this for some r rated drug use and colorful characters like strawberry the PTSD guy and the chick who reenacts a sex moment with the public listening and watching. Too much to mention. This film is the best of the c&c films and like I said, lou Adler never gets as much kudos as he should have.

Great stoner movie! I first saw this movie as a teenager and boy did we smoke a lot of weed at the drive in! You need to be really stoned to watch Cheech and Chong movies to get the full effects! That was the good old days when they still had Colombian Gold, Buddha Thai sticks, Panama Red, Humboldt County Indica, etc. The weed nowadays can't even compare to the killer weed of the 70's and early 80's!

This is their first and best movie which is simply hilarious from start to finish. I'll never stop laughing at the car scene. I'd recommend you watch this before any of the others, which didn't quite fully recreate the same level of comedy.

The CD arrived on time. I’ve not seen the film since my late teens and it’s just as mad as I remembered. I’d completely forgotten about it until mentioned in a recent interview I saw with Eric Burdon. Great.

Bought as a present. Went down with a storm of laughter. Great film

I have had some bad dvds of here but this was joke it played for 5 mins then jumped then started jumping more frequently was actually wanting to watch
