I first had this knife in Dental School 40 years ago. It had a rosewood handle and I still have that knife. I ordered one elsewhere recently that was NOT Buffalo brand. It was a piece of junk .. I then recently ordered a BUFFALO brand one and was pleased to see it still had quality craftsmanship and a rosewood quality handle. You must order Buffalo Brand to get the old world quality !! 7R is the model style..

I needed this knife for the chalk-carving portion of a dental school interview. The knife was delivered in great condition. The blade was easy to sharpen.

This is a well made and easy to clean knife. I use it for trimming paraffin blocks in histology and it’s easy to hold and work with.

Very sharp and stays sharp. The rust appears too quickly. The oldBuffalo knives never rusted.

I lost my buffalo plaster knife I had in dental School (I had the knife for 35 years) I now use it to open boxed items I receive . It is s till best sharp knife to open boxes.
