Maxine Of Hollywood Women's Spa Shirred Girl Leg One Piece Swimsuit

I’ve won this five or six times and I’m quite pleased with it. It’s comfortable, modest, cute, and relatively true to size. I am 5’9”, 44D, 240 pounds. I typically wear 18/20w bottoms and 2xl tops. I purchased a 22W because I usually find swimsuits to run small and I would rather have them baggy than too tight (since I’m just swimming at home in my swimspa). The 22W is a tad loose. I could probably wear the 20W, and may try that the next time I order. The suit is fully lined and not transparent, which is a big bonus for me- at least the white with orange/blue flowers is. So far, this is my favorite Amazon suit. Will buy again.

Maxine of Hollywood is my go-to brand for bathing suits that are modest, figure (read tummy) flattering and well-priced. The brand offers a lot of different styles and patterns. Returns are a breeze. I find the fit to be average. I wear a 14 at 5'5' and 157 lb. I am a pear shape with most of the weight in my hips and tummy.Other brands also help hide certain body areas but Maxine's is so well-priced you can get several bathing suits for just one of the other. I have had this brand for many years and it has held up well with elasticity and color. That said, I live in an area where we have a limited outdoor swimming season and I do not swim in indoor pools. So the suits have not had rigorous use. All in all, I highly recommend this suit and this brand.

I highly recommend this suit if you are looking for something comfortable with good coverage. I purchased the version with the all over tropical print. The colors are vibrant, the fabric is good quality as is the lining.I like that the leg opening is generous and completely covers my butt and does not ride up. I plan on purchasing another print that's how pleased I am... I am a size 16 XL & it fit perfect.

This is a nice full fitting suit and I don't have to constantly tug at it because it pulls up. I am 5'2" and 130 lbs and the size 8 fits me perfectly without feeling like it is riding up when I swim. The legs are not high cut and the waist is slimming with a nice shirred layer on top to make the suit attractive to wear. Definitely will stick to this brand.

I have a Maxine suit that finally wore out after a few years of use and was delighted to find another on Amazon since I couldn’t recall where I bought the original one. This swimsuit is well made and provides very good support and coverage for those of us who prefer a more modest cut. I can swim, dive and river raft in this suit without fear of the seat riding up or the girls falling out. For those reviewers who complained it didn’t fit well, I suspect they needed to size up or down. I’m 5’4, weigh 180 lbs and usually wear a size 16. I’m in my sixties, am fairly curvy and this suit fits me very well. It’s snug but comfortable when I first put it on, and will give a bit once wet. This suit is a bargain, so I bought two!

Late review. Loved this suit. Vibrant color, fit well, prompt delivery. Problem: purchased last year as “back-up” & didn’t wear it til a month ago. After a few weeks noticed stitching came loose around legs and button to tighten legs (nice feature by the way) is missing on one leg. I’ll stitch it up. Still, great suitabd I’d buy again.Update: I’ve worn the suit for a several weeks now and the loose stitching is way beyond what I can “stitch up.” Elastic is coming out of both legs halfway around. I alternate suits so this one hasn’t seen enough wear to have a problem like this. One star is just for the color.

Everything about this bathing suit was great except it was too big for me, especially in the hips and length.I have requested an exchange to a smaller size (14). It arrived today ( just a few days after I sent the original back). Very excited as this fits perfectly. The quality of the material is so nice it will last awhile. Love the pattern. Purchased this and another design for trip to Maui. These fit so well. I felt comfortable even though I hate being seen in swim suit, and the designs were perfect for vacation.
