Not as good as the factory one in my corvette. It works fine but requires to push the key in hard to get it to unlock. I’m hoping with some wear this gets better. It works, just isn’t very smooth in function

I installed this ignition cylinder in an 88 corvette with no issue. After install I had to take the original key and one of the new ones to local locksmith and get the right resistor key cut to match new ones. If you've bypassed the VATS on your gm vehicle or plan to them cutting new keys won't be needed and you can use the ones that come with it.

Worked great for about a month then it just didn't anymore. Not an easy replacement so that's unfortunate. Better off going through dealership and spending the money for a better product

Needed it for my 1996 Chevy Impala and it worked! U will have to get a locksmith to make the keys but after that u are good to go.
