Bulbs fail after just a few weeks of daily use.

We bought these bulbs because the 4 bulb (downward) fixture in the TV room was shining in our eyes. These did the trick, no more glare. They look cool too. However, they are very dim (due to the low watt rating). If our fixture had the bulbs pointed upward, the lighting may not be as low since the silver cover is at the top and the light comes from the bottom of the bulb. We will be buying more when needed, but next time we will get a higher watt.

Very nice bulbs, produces a steady soft light. I have 3 of them in a decorative hanging lamp in my living room. We actually keep them on all night in our house to keep the living room lit for our dogs.

These were exactly what I was looking for. They fit in a fan above my bed so I needed bright room light but not to be blinded when I looked up from my bed. These fit the bill perfectly.

I put four of these bulbs in the light fixture. One bulb started flickering within a couple weeks and eventually died. Then the 2nd one started doing that a couple months later. The third one started a couple months after that. Only 1 of the 4 is still working.

They flicker terribly and they also burn out, just flat out fail. I am shopping for replacements now.

Some people don't notice or care, but when I move my hand and see a psychedelic series of hands rather than a smooth movement, it drives me crazy. I'm still using them, however, because there is another non-flickering bulb nearby that outshines the strobe.
