Use Vodka as it is relatively taste free, and the alcohol to water proportion is about right. For dried herbs use one part to five parts Vodka, eg. 200g (7oz) to 1 litre (2.2 pints). The ratio for fresh herbs is 1:2. Place the powdered dry, or finely chopped or crushed fresh herb in an airtight jar, pour in the vodka and seal. Leave in a dark place for two weeks shaking daily. Then squeeze the mash through muslin to remove all the liquid and store in a dark glass bottle. As an alternative to alcohol use equal parts glycerin and water. The adult dose is usually 5ml (one teaspoonful) three times daily or double for acute conditions. The dose can be diluted in water or fruit juice for palatability.ALCOHOL:Add approximately 1.5 to 2 Oz powder to 1 Litre white rum. We recommend white rum because you will be able to see the progress when the color changes different shades of brown as the resin from the Bois Bande mixes into the alcohol. Let stand for at least 1-4 weeks, bearing in mind the longer its aged the better the resulting product. The bark takes longer to infuse, directions using the bark would show a longer wait before use.HOT BEVERAGE:Place one leveled teaspoon into a cup of boiled, or hot, water or milk, let steep for about 10 minutes, strain or filter, add sugar, honey or other sweetener to taste, and drink.Please note: This website does not offer medical advice, nor warrants the use of this product. I've been looking for natural alternatives to Cialis.My daily supplement intake is 4000 mg of Panax Ginseng and 3000 mg of Maca Root.Last week, I added Bois Bande to the mix which I've been consuming as a tea.After taking it for 3 days in a row, I've seen some amazing results.So, in addition to other supplements and by taking it regularly, it works amazingly well!Will continue to use it and will buy more!
