I am also a Physician Assistant with many years experience in Orthopedics. In 2013 I had 5 back surgeries all within 10 months. It was a long haul to improvement but now I have about 95% of my function compared to 10 years ago. Unfortunately, much to my dismay, I will never climb a mountain again. My major problem now is severe pain for the first 5 minutes after getting out of bed. Another problems is that I cannot stand still for long periods of time (3 minutes or more) without doing stretches (which are only minimally helpful) because I have to keep stretching every minute or so.Last week I bought a large wide "The Angle" support pillow. When I woke up after my first night I can absolutely and unequivocally say that I have absolutely no morning back pain since I began using The Angle. Also both my daytime pains and my standing aches have decreased.One thing that many people do not mention is that there are many, many causes of back pain. The cause in my case is very obvious. Due to the pathology, I would assume that there would be benefit with The Angle for people with muscular, ligament and tendon causes of back pain as long as you get the proper size of The Angle. I can't emphasize enough how important it is to get the correct size. I wish the sizing graphic in this ad would also tell the height from the bed to the peak and one end to the other end of the pillow..I don't know about the benefit for people with herniated disks, pinched nerves, spinal stenosis etc. Each case is different. These people should ask their Doctor/Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner regarding the use of The Angle.I personally am extremely happy with my purchase of The Angle. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Better Than Alternatives But Slightly Overpriced Maybe *by W***T on Reviewed in the United States on April 16, 2018* I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 because it didn't come with the side strap and it is pricey. However, I am glad I bought it because it is very comfortable and the perfect size. All other options I could find were too small. I bought the biggest size - extra wide large. I'm 5'7" with long legs and I need to train myself to sleep on my back due to a shoulder issue. I got this to help stop me from flipping over. So far so good.It is 10.5 inches at the highest point and shy of 25" wide. It did not come in the packaging shown in the picture. It was rolled up and had to decompress. It seems I got a knock off, but the quality is good enough.
