Everything claiming luxury is not always high quality!
Lacking in quality!, the first pair of gloves were marked with a dark line , they were returned and I received an exchange, however, the exchange pair had a hole in the finger. Since the company boasts 1 free exchange I did not attempt to send it back. I’m disappointed at the quality of these gloves. The best part is the color which I really like. Pity that they may not last long. Special occasions here it goes!

Unbelievable value — so buttery soft, such vivid color!
These gloves are an unbelievable value. Well sewn, well sized, fantastically vivid color, and the leather is so buttery soft, you could imagine sleeping on sheets made of it! The cashmere lining makes them plenty warm on a cold winter day. The gloves arrive in an oversized velvet bag, which is a nice way to store them in the closet (I hang the bag by its drawstring around the same hangar as my winter coat that matches them). Be sure to know your hand size before ordering. If you don't, there are guides of how to do so — video guides, text instructions — all over the internet. Shipping was prompt, communication from the company was timely, professional, and polite. I can't say enough about these gorgeous gloves! (Adding photo to show that the cashmere is woven.)

I really wanted to like these....
I first ordered the black gloves in a 7.5. Between having long fingers and long-ish nails, I suspected an 8 would be a better fit, but that wasn't available. Sure enough, the fit was a little snug. Could I make it work? Probably. The gloves themselves were super soft inside and out, and looked great, although a little short on the wrist. Next I order the charcoal in an 8, to compare fit, and for my purposes grey would work just as well as black. It's this pair that knocks this review down to 3 stars. While the fit was perfect, the quality was lacking. The leather of the thumb was of a considerably lighter color than the rest of the glove (I noticed someone who ordered the yellow had the same problem). It was noticeable as soon as I removed them from the box, and not even in the greatest lighting. The color on the rest of the glove also had some dark splotches. Since the stitching was more obvious in this color, I noticed it could have been stitched more cleanly and tightly. So, unfortunately, both pairs are going back (thanks for the free returns Amazon!).

Great find!
I purchased an absurdly expensive pair of leather gloves from my favorite retailer(starts with an N, ends with a M) last year. Ultimately, they were stolen from my shopping cart at Target. They were 3 times the cost and these are more comfortable, the leather is more buttery soft, the cashmere is extremely soft and the color is amazing. I haven't had any issues with the fingers being too long or holes in the seams. They are perfect. I have put my order in for 3 more colors.

which fit nicely. Sending the green gloves back for an exchange ...
These gloves are butter soft in a gorgeous shade of navy blue. I had originally ordered the olive/sage green, but these were too bright in color for my taste and a little too small. I have small hands and ordered the size 7, which fit nicely. Sending the green gloves back for an exchange was a breeze because of Fratelli Orsini's exchange policy. All I had to do was download a label, tape it to a mailer, include the invoice and send it all back. Postage was paid by the vendor. I wanted these gloves because I lost a navy blue pair I bought at the leather market in Florence (Italy). These are the next best thing, though I didn't actually buy them in Italy. Close enough. I'll wear them with fond memories of the art capital of the world.

Supple and surprisingly warm
These are very well made, and the cashmere lining is of equal high quality. Slightly snug the first time I tried them on, eased into a supple fit after a few hours of wear. Not stretched out, just comfortable, fitting my hands "like a glove," as they say. Covers the area above the wrist that is often exposing skin in shorter gloves. They are surprisingly warm for a leather glove, likely due to the cashmere lining. Well worth the expense given the quality and feel.

Terrific buy high-quality luxurious we have bought two pairs
My wife absolutely love these gloves she wears a size 7 1/2 and they fit absolutely perfect and very comfortable very luxurious with the Cashmere linIng. I purchased her a parit about three years ago and she wore them on a trip to France last year and somehow throughout the trip The gloves got damaged from moisture rain or whatever. So this fall she bought herself a new pair of red gloves from a department store that were a fraction of a quality for around the same price and did not have the Cashmere lining when I saw how disappointed she was I was happy to see that these were still available on Amazon and I purchased her a new pair she has these as well as other gloves and is keeping these for the special occasions where she wants to just feel extra luxurious this is a terrific quality item that we obviously now have bought twice.

Nice leather, Average construction
As other reviewers have noted, the fingers are absurdly long. I have average length fingers, and there is a full half inch of extra length in both pairs. I measured them against other Italian-made leather gloves I have, and the difference was instantly noticeable. Also, I bought two pairs the same size. One was a bit too tight, the other a bit too loose. The leather is very soft and supple. The colors (navy and pumpkin) were true and consistent throughout the glove. The cashmere lining is warm enough for the midwest cold. However, the lining was sewn to the hem of the glove in such a manner as to make the tension from the stitches visible on the outside. This is a shortcut. Truly fine gloves have the lining attached such that the hem of the glove does not reveal the stitches in any way.If feel it is possible to purchase gloves of equal quality for far less than the "sale" price at which these are offered. $53 is not too much to spend for a good leather dress glove, but the fit and finish should be a bit better.
