Intrepid International Charlie Bug-Off Shield Fly Mask with Ears

I know a lot of fly masks tear up quickly but the horse I bought this for is very careful and tends to keep his things in perfect condition. Within 2 months this mask already had a tear between the fuzzy bottom and the sheer mask, I can tuck it in and it still works but not impressed with how this only lasted 1/2 of a summer.On the positive side, the fuzz is as soft as I was hoping. I bought this for my older horse who can be sensitive and he was getting a nasty rub from his other fly mask. As soon as I switched him into this one, the red bump went away. I also love the sheer mesh-- and how the eyes pop out so that it doesn't touch their face.If the mask had not torn so quickly, I'd give it all 5 stars.

This fly mask is perfection. First it is comfortable for my horses to wear. The fabric is easy to see thru and stands away from the eyes. The ears are cut large so the horse is comfy there too. The attachment band is velcro and stretchy for comfort while eating. The fuzzy band around the bottom assures no flies get in from the bottom.

The best fly mask for my horses. It fits well and lasts over a year. Easy to clean too. (I replace these masks after a year just because my horses are fashion conscious.)

Seems to be good quality but the cob size is not loose enough for the big arab eyes. I can still use it on my pony so not a total loss.

This fly mask is very lightweight and sheer but has a tight weave to keep even tiny gnats out. My mare prefers this mask to other masks I have tried.

I liked that the mesh is really fine and kept the smallest bugs out and the seams were well done so they wouldn't rub my horse's face but the fur trim rubbed my horse's jowl bald within a week so I stopped using it. The ear covering looked ratty after 2 days. The fit is definitely off and I was afraid to get the bigger one for fear it would have been too big. The company needs to improve on the fit and then maybe it would work better without rubbing.I like the concept but it just didn't work for my horse my horse.

Best fly mask I've ever used. I will be purchasing another to replace an expensive Kensington that became misshapen and useless after five months, whereas these fly masks have been holding up for longer, are a good fit and are far more effective in protecting the horses' eyes and ears against flies and gnats. The sky blue is very pretty on any color horse.

Decent flymask, my escape artist had it off in less than 2 minutes though.
