can you machine wash?

Yes, you should be able to machine wash this visor. Here is what I have done to clean my Halo headband that I would wear underneath my cycling helmet during warmer months: Wash using a gentle cycle by placing it in a smaller laundry utility bag to protect from twisting or peeling the silicone strip. Then let the visor air dry instead of using laundry dryer. This will keep the strip adhered to the visor longer and give you longer use. Good luck!

How far does the bill of the visor stick out?
