Rockpro Commercial Windshield Repair Kit

Great company to work with . I first used the product in December of 2020 , worked great ,repaired a few windshields. Fast forward to October 2022 no fault but my own the plunger broke so I ordered a new complete kit . I then decided to call the company and see if a repair kit for the plunger was available, to my surprise they said they would send out a completed injector at no cost . Now this is a company that really backs their product. You have a forever customer . I’m even going to keep the kit I just ordered today for back up even though I don’t think I need it . Thanks again for the great support.

The first attempt to use the Rockpro the suction cups would not hold and the resin plunger broke. I contacted Rockpro and they immediately sent the replacement part. They were friendly and helpful.My second attempt had the same result, the suction cups would not hold so I held the suction stand down by hand and injected the resin. After I removed the stand I disassembled it to remove the cartridge and clean it of any resin, by doing this the inner tube broke.This is a very cheaply made product made with cheap plastic. Don't waste your money.

Plunger tip broke during my first repair, wondering if I can get a replacement.

Was very disappointment when I opened the box to find a tool that is made of not just plastic, but 'how can we get the cost down as far as possible Chinese plastic' that's very flimsy. I've seen higher quality plastic on a Happy Meal toy. I'm not ripping on the business owner directly here because its obvious he is trying to aim the product at a market that may benefit from something better than a $15 kit from the Auto parts store that doesn't work. Maybe towards fleet owners that don't want to spend $100 to $150 a stone chip. This is a product that could be made to higher quality and the price doubled and still be saleable.I dare say on the type of stone chips its designed for, it would work, but one accidental drop on the floor or bench and it will clearly break. I opened the box , decided it was not good enough based on the quality of the and returned it.

As the name implies, this is a professional kit, meant for filling fairly large cracks and it takes a lot of practice to master, especially on rounded (non-flat) surfaces. Otherwise, you may be looking at a real mess. If you are simply filling in chips or really small cracks in your garage/driveway, there are simpler and cheaper methods. Also, the chemicals involved are very caustic! Gloves and eye protection are a must and definitiely do not get any on your skin, eye's, face, etc. For some reason the instructional videos and written instructions do not cover or convey this anywhere near as importantly as they should!!

My son and I travel for a living and we get pounded by rock chips on our windshields. At 60 dollars a pop to get them fixed is crazy. Sometimes it takes awhile to get somewhere to get them fixed before they get any worse, so it is handy to be able to fix them ourselves at the end of the day and saves us some money. A windshield on my van costs 400.00 so this saves me a good amount of cash. Not to mention I get 20.00 to repair other peoples rock chips while on the road. Good purchase

This is a piece of junk, on the picture looks like a pro piece, this is the first time i use it since i purchase it a couple of moths ago, since i was removing it from the nice well constructed box, i had the the feeling that was a waste of money, and i was right, the suction cups were not making any suction, i clean the glass twice, i moisture thye cups twice and i was trying to make vacuum and the suction cups were popping out any way i managed to hold the piece on the glass making vacuum, nice then i was trying to inject the resin and the piece of junk popped out and spill the resin, 😡some of itr got in to the cracks but now ill need to buy a stupid windshield.

Plunger broke on on first use. Rockpro service people was very fast at answering and said they will send me a replacement at no cost.
