soft touch, no sweat. perfect for migraine sufferers.
LOVE these ice packs because of the feel of the material on the outside. My daughter gets horrible migraines, she gets relief from covering her head in icepacks. These are soft, not crinkly plastic, no need to wrap in towels which then end up getting all tangled. They stay cold for a long time. And come in handy for lunches too.

Terrible Quality
I bought 3 of these orginally. 2 in the first shipment were leaking gel when I opened the packaging. I returned them and the next shipment 1 of the 2 was leaking. Returned that and finally got all 3 that weren't leaking. After using for 2 weeks one completely busted open in my lunch bag leaving clumps of gel all over the inside. 2 weeks later the other 2 failed and leaked as well. They're not expensive so if you don't mind the back and forth of returning items then go ahead and buy them but I suggest you keep scrolling for something with a little better quality. I was disheartened because the giant size that came with my Blue Apron orders were amazing quality so I was expecting the same. Shame you can't order the larger size on Amazon.

Ok but not great due to the paper like cover, go for the Nordic Plastic lined ice packs instead
Have been a Nordic ice pack purchaser for years. However recently some of the ice packs use a thick paper like cover instead of the old plastic cover. You can still get the plastic covered ice pack. The problem with the new covering is that it does not keep food in coolers as cold as the plastic covered ice packs by Nordic. I do not care for the new covering for one other reason. The paper like covering tore after several uses. There is no worry of leakage as there is a second layer of protection. Also if the covers are wet and several bags are stacked in the freezer they stick together and tear the outer lining. This was a common complaint with the older plastic covers, sticking together. However the difference is the plastic cover Nordic ice packs never tore when prying the ice packs apart. My biggest complaint is simply that the ice packs don't keep food cold like the plastic lined ice packs by Nordic.

These are amazing for lunch boxes
These stay cold all day! I put one in my lunch box and my yogurt was actually starting to freeze. These are amazing for lunch boxes. I also use them for my migraines. I will continue to buy these. Just be careful because they can stick to the freezer and tear off a layer of their fabric.

Works great for keeping lunches cold in a small cooler
Works great for keeping lunches cold in a small cooler. The only thing is you need to put it in a ziplock bag since the outer part seems like paper, and I wouldn't want it to get wet.

Truly no sweating on surfaces which is just amazing! Stays cold all night.
Ice pack on body parts, of course.
