Jamaica's Find (Reading Rainbow)

Great story!! Jamaica learns that finders keepers has 2 sides!!! Her mother planted the seed of how the littlegirl that lost the prized toy must feel like. Jamaica is bothered by how that would feel and can't wait to dothe right thing. Well written and with the reminders to turn the page my then 3 year old granddaughter had noproblem keeping up. Illustration are beautiful and reader great also!!

I love this book! I found it at the preschool library where I am a substitute teacher. I read it aloud to a large group of captivated listeners. It is relatable for them on many levels. They enjoyed it so and it was a great catalyst for interesting discussion! So, I went ahead and bought a copy from Amazon for my personal library!

Such a great book! With a great story, beautiful illustrations and subtle shows diversity with two girls white and black befriending one another thru a lost stuffed animal. Love it. We need more books like this! The audio is a great addition as well.

I purchased this for my almost 7 year old granddaughter. I researched books for children of color with children of color characters, as well as authors. This series of books has good everyday lessons. I look forward to reading it with her after the holidays.

Nice book for kids. Good for substitute teachers to use while doing other things and let the kids listen to the story quietly.

Excellent book to add to my First Grade collection. This series is wonderful as Read Alouds for teaching Realistic fiction, and how character feelings change throughout the story. I am very satisfied with the product and the seller.
