SakkasKai Palm Tree Caftan Tank Dress/Cover Up

Sakkas has made dressing up fun and AFFORDABLE again! This dress is beautiful, and when I tried it on, I was shocked at how it flattered my figure. It's really gorgeous (the dress, not my figure...LOL). Seriously, I stopped wearing dresses years ago, because there was always something wrong with the cut. I am 5' 00" tall, have bigger than average bust, and even the petite section offered me nothing for my figure & stature combined. But this company put a gorgeous, and very HIGH quality, dress out, & that made me take a chance. I am so thrilled I did!! The details are beautiful, embroidery is eye catching, no zippers (YAY!!!), and a flowing gorgeous fit that flatters and accentuates. I loved this so much I bought it in Lavender, too! This, from a woman who gave up on dresses years ago. Thank you Sakkas, for affordable, beautiful, flattering dresses that are obviously made with a true commitment to quality. Ladies, just try one--you have nothing to lose with AMAZON's return policy. So glad I bought this dress! Highly, over the moon, recommended. And this is MY OPINION--I paid full price for this dress, and I received nothing (except a great new wardrobe piece) for my time and effort. Love, Love, LOVE IT!!

I am one of the people who has been going through the Pacific Northwest heat waves of 2021 in an un-air-conditioned house. My usual summer wear of t-shirt and capris just doesn't cut it. So I've been collecting a few dresses that I can wear around the house and out to local stores. A few I've had to send back (to here or other places) because of bad fit or fabric that's too heavy. But this one is nearly perfect for what I need. It's light weight, it's loose fitting, it's attractive. And it keeps me about as cool as it's possible to be when the interior temperature gets over 80 F. Also it has generous sized pockets. I always check to make sure garments have pockets.I ordered the turquoise, which is much more intense than it appears in the photo. But I like it. I'm 5'5" and the hem mostly hits me a little below the knee, which I like. I washed it in cold water on delicate setting with some like-colored items. I threw in one white cotton rag and it didn't pick up any turquoise dye, so I think it's pretty well colorfast. I put it in the dryer for 15 minutes on the low setting to shake the wrinkles out, then hung it to finish drying. I don't think it shrank.I looked through the Sakkas listings on Amazon for another comparable one with pockets, but didn't find any I liked as well, so I just ordered this one in black.

I LOVE this dress!! The material is wonderful!! It’s so comfortable, but it looks really beautiful at the same time so I can wear it around the house or to a nice event. Perfect summer dress! It’s really cool and flowy, but it’s not transparent like a lot of summer dresses are. It fits perfectly- it’s nice a big, but it isn’t baggy so it doesn’t make me look big. This a really well made dress for a low price! I would absolutely follow the tag for washing it because you could risk distorting the rayon material and the die comes out some when you wash it. The die doesn’t come out enough to fade the dress, but it does come out enough to stain other clothes, so wash it separately! The only issue I had with the dress was that it is a much brighter green than the picture shows. The picture shows a light muted olive color, but the dress is actually a very bright and vibrant green. But even then, I actually ended up loving the color!! So I’m not upset about the color, it’s just not what I was expecting to get.

It is pretty much one-size-fits-all. It is comfortable and not dragging the floor but comes to about mid-calf on me (5'3"). It will absolutely need a full slip under it because you can see the color of your undies - would be okay as a bathing suit cover-up though. Because it is a one-size-fits-all expect it to hang straight down from your breasts unless your stomach area is the same size or larger - there is plenty of room for that if needed. The printed area is too high for using a belt, unless you do not care that it does. It is a feminine as well as comfortable. I like the clothing that comes out of India - they have decent products.

This dress arrived and is more beautiful than I expected. It is a free-size dress so will fit almost everyone even if they change size over the years. It recommends hand washing separately and I did so on the first wash. Nearly zero dye in the water. Now I've washed it in my front loading machine on cold and it came out just fine with no dye on any other fabrics. Put it in the dryer on low with other light weight materials and it came out just fine. I recommend this dress.

I bought this dress in blue & it was even prettier in person. I was a little concerned about it fitting since I'm a size 18/20, but it fit just fine. It is a little on the sheer side, so I wore a full slip. Yeah, I'm that old! :) If you do wear a slip, it shouldn't go below your knees because of the sides, which are shorter than the front & back. I always wash new clothes before I wear them. I washed in cold, regular cycle, and put it in the dryer on normal temp for about 15 mins then hung on hanger to finish drying. It came out beautifully & not wrinkled. I wore a short-sleeved blazer jacket with it for work (since there are no pockets) & they went together very well. Pics are what it looks like after wearing all day, mostly sitting down. As you can see, there's only some wrinkling in the back at the bottom. From the pic of the back, you can get an idea of sheerness since you can see the tag. I'd highly recommend this dress!

I now have 5 of the Sakkas dresses, I love all of them. They are very comfortable and would work for casual to dressy events. I have received compliments every time I wear one. They hit me at ankle length give or take an inch or two either way. Light weight fabric is like air on hot summer days. If you buy a Sakkas make sure you purchase it from the Sakkas dealer not a third party. I purchased one from a third party and it took days longer to received and it was not what I ordered and I was going to have to pay for return shipping for their mistake.

I have bought these dresses for years and you can never go wrong they are one size comfortable and ideal for holidays, easy to pack, lightweight, easy washed and dried, what more can I say, you cant go wrong.

I bought this to wear on the beach over my swimsuit.Sadly it was not flattering, and there was a strong smell of rayon from the palm tree motifs.I returned the item.

lovely pretty summder dress, covers a multiyude of sins! Not too long either - am a shorty!

Although dress is large, sleeves are small probably will not fit above uk size 18. And dress requires a slip underneath.

its a good dress but have to wash separate as lots and I mean lots of dye comes out. where silk stitching is on palm trees, it does shrink in wash must stretch into shape. over priced. if made properly would be a great dress for holidays.
