A friend gave me two deck caps and I ordered a third one to complete the project. I was so pleased with how fast the package arrived in my mailbox. The instructions were clear and the installation was very simple. I couldn’t be happier with the results.

Simple install and great fit even on tapered post
Looks really nice. Our post tops were tapered, not squared flat. I wasn't sure if they would work, but they worked fine. We only used 2 of the 4 screws and they are holding tight.

Extremely well designed for a simple and durable installation
I was not sure how this product was going to go but simply did not feel like making post caps and bought them. I have no interest in the typical wood caps that you buy as they only last a couple of years, crack and fall apart. So historically I have made my own from 1 1/2 thick treated material as this was the only way to meet my standard of quality.The 2 piece design of these is brilliant. The bottom half has a couple of tabs on them to attach to the top of your post so you can get them nicely centered up and you just drive in 2 screws. Once that is done you snap on the top, done. No way I could have made and installed these for this price.The material really is automotive grade plastic and I have no doubt these will be around long after I am gone without cracking and falling apart.Don't over think this one, Just buy them you wont regret it.Have a great day, Jeff

Not heat resistant, they are warping from the sun
These look great but can't take the heat. I bought a dozen of these for my deck, three are warping from the sun. I'm trying to get them replaced under warranty but that is a chore, having trouble getting this company to respond to my request. UPDATE: I did receive two replacement caps from this company, I do appreciate that. 2nd UPDATE: I have noticed more are warping, I wish I had never purchased these. I recommend you look elsewhere, these are not heat resistant.

Fits 5 1/2 square post
Great caps and easy to install. Can be painted to match existing rails and post. They are plastic, so don't expect to use them where they will be subject to abuse.
