Stays on cue tip
Predator makes some great products in the pool world. This chalk stays on a tip better than masters or some of the cheaper chalks. Staying on longer means if you forget to chalk , you might just get away with it. Chalk is cheap. In relationship to cues, cases and lost games. This is an advantage for you

Nice and sticks to the cue well, although a bit dirty
Although Predator has released a newer version of the pure performance chalk, this 1080 still hit home base for how well it performs. On average, I can get 6-7 hits before needing to reapply chalk, but if you have played for more than a couple of months, you would reapply much more often, so miscue is not a common thing for this chalk.On another note, the chalk seems to stick too well to the cue ball, causing it to get dirty and slid more often. It is very miniscule of a situation, but again, if you decide to buy this chalk, chances that you have a dying passion for pool table already. A box of 5 pieces will last you a year, or if you have a bunch of school work like me, forever.This also comes with a chalk holder than can be attached to your pants. Although I just hold it in my hand, this would be nice for some amateur players who need to move around a lot and reapply chalks.

Very Useable! Needs modification.
I insert a piece of the Predator Chalk to 1/4" and then cut off 1/4" of the chalk holder all around the chalk. This allows for the chalk to be BRUSHED on to the cue tip when fully inserted for play.

Dirtiest chalk, but best for buck
Predator 1080 is notorious for being a very dirty chalk, I don't recommend it to beginners because it leaves a lot of marks on table cloth. I made the mistake of using this when learning to masse without a protective cloth to put the ball on. Though for the price in comparison to other premium brands, I think this being less than $2 per cube is the highest value chalk you can purchase for performance. Performs slightly better than master chalk, worth the money.
