21 grams of vegan protein w/ branched chain amio acids, I have lost a lot of weight and kept it off
Or gain is a great product. We use both the powder, and the premixed drink boxes. I like the taste, compared to other powders I have tried. It is not a DQ shake, but for a vegan protein shake it is good. I only mix it in smoothies with frozen fruits, and fresh produce. So the powder only provides a little sweetness and a lot of protein. If you hate all protein powders, you will probably hate this one too. Maybe if you hate all protein powders try drinking smoothies with just fruits and veggies, and get your protein from some other healthy source. For protein powders, I prefer vegan protein. I get plenty of meat based protein in my diet, but whey protein is harder for me to digest, and process. Vegan protein powder gives me a more balanced amino acid profile, I get the aminos I would otherwise miss in my animal based diet, of milk, eggs, and lean proteins. As a male, I try to avoid soy proteins, and I’m cautious of legumes. Vegan proteins are great, but you want to get the correct vegan proteins, for your needs, goals, and limitations. Or gain uses high quality, safe, balanced vegan sourced proteins.I realize there is a subset of people that say why smoothies? Just eat food. I was not 326 lbs because I was eating healthy foods. I was in the camp of people that thought fruit was a waste of calories. I mean come on, 2 apples have the same calories as a candy bar. But what I have learned is that two apples will nourish and fuel your body, leaving you satisfied. Sugar just trashes your hormones and metabolism. Calories are not the only thing that made me fat. Excess calories from poor nutrition made me fat. Protein smoothies were my baby step in learning how to eat the right stuff. I knew what to eat. I just did not want to do it. Protein smoothies taste good to me. They helped me to learn how to like eating fruit. I now eat whole fruits in place of junk food. I also eat a lot of fruits in smoothies with Orgain powder. My overall review is fairly glowing, and I will let my 5 star rating stand, as I have lost over 100 lbs. The positive benefit of losing 100 lbs and keeping that weight off out weighs anything else for me. So maybe my thoughts are biased.Protein smoothies and an otherwise terrible diet will not help you lose 100 lbs. But protein smoothies, and education may help you learn your triggers to bad eating, and they may help you compensate for cravings, and learn new cravings. It will be a struggle, and it will take time.I do not use this powder in a shaker cup so I can not say how it does with those. I do use it as a component in a fairly complex smoothie with 3 or 4 types of fruit and some greens and juices. My smoothies are not low calorie. They are good calorie with great nutrition. They are not a full meal replacement, but they are close. My smoothies run about 300 calories per serving. I consider a meal 500 calories, for my size and activity level. The nice thing about a smoothie is you can pour what you need and share the rest with your family. My go to smoothies recipe usesThe blendtec designer 625 blender with 4 sided jarAny powerful blender will work4 oz of POM juice [[ASIN:B01N9LTVU2 POM Wonderful Pomegranate Cherry, 100% Juice2 oz of lemon concentrate (gives fruit smoothies a jolly rancher effect) ReaLemon 100% Lemon Juice - 2/48 oz. btls. by ReaLemon [Foods]4 ounces of coconut milk....So Delicious Dairy Free Organic Coconutmilk Beverage, Vanilla, 32 oz (Pack of 6) plus frozen strawberries, blueberries, and fresh green baby spinach.this will make a thick smoothie, probably too thick for a ninja blender (been down that road) more liquid will help thin the smoothie if your blender can't handle it. When I had a ninja, the liquid had to be filled to the top of the greens at the least.3 scoops orgain vanilla protein powder (that makes 33 grams of protein for the full pitcher of smoothie)2 handfuls of fresh organic power greens, baby spinach will work great too.2 handfuls of organic frozen strawberries1 handful frozen blackberry, raspberry, blueberry comboThis will make a full jar of smoothie. 48 ounces I think. This is the family size recipie. Don't drink this all your self!! As a meal, this will feed two people. As a snack it will feed 6.My life is great now at 215 lbs, and I am active. I can play with my kids and ride my bike to work. I could not do that at 326 lbs.Orgain protein powder helped me. It tasted good enough to make a new lifestyle possible. It has good organic ingredients. It is a great component in my organic smoothies, that we still have several times per week. Not everyone has the same goals, or problems I had. Your journey will be different.Update:For the best price, what I have found is that I can order 5 of these every other month, in the subscribe and save program. I use the Amazon store card. that gets me another 5% off. So I get 20% off each jug I order just by making sure I have 5 items shipped every time I get a subscribe and save. If you end up liking this product as much as I do, and don't use as much, you can order 5 and then skip months until it is all gone. I think subscribe and save even has an every 6 months option. Doing it this way gives you five for the price of four. That is how I get the best deal. But other than that I pay the same price anyone else would, and those discounts are available to anyone. Good luck and happy smoothing!I think the key is to identify healthy choices and do them consistently. Protein smoothies can be an expensive way to get healthy. So using them as a supplement, may be a better choice for many. And eating healthy foods will be your best overall choice.Getting exercise is also a great idea.My hope with this review, is to encourage and inspire someone to make healthy changes. To show them that someone else has had struggles (and I still struggle, I wont even mention how badly I did this past holiday season. But with effort and consistency, there can be hope. Maybe you wont lose 100 lbs. but maybe your clothes will fit better, and you will be able to be a little more active. I remember how happy I was that my size 42 jeans were not tight any more. Now I can wear 34's, and I have gotten down to 32's when I got my weight down to 206. But so far I have not found that weight very sustainable.

Smooth, Versatile, and Clean Protein Powder
I've tried several protein powders over the years, but Orgain Organic Vegan Protein Powder (Vanilla Bean) stands out for its smooth texture, versatility, and clean ingredients.Mixability & TextureOne of my biggest issues with protein powders is clumping, but this one blends effortlessly. Whether I mix it with whole milk or 2%, it dissolves smoothly without any chalky or grainy texture. Drinking it as a shake is enjoyable, with no need for excessive stirring or blending.Versatility in RecipesWhat really sets this product apart is how well it integrates into cooking and baking. I’ve used it in my from-scratch pancake recipe, and it blends seamlessly without altering the consistency or requiring adjustments. It gives me peace of mind knowing I can add extra nutrition to my kids’ favorite breakfast without compromising taste or texture. Unlike other protein powders I’ve tried, this one doesn’t make the batter too thick or dry.Beyond pancakes, I’ve successfully incorporated it into other baking recipes—muffins, waffles, and even homemade protein bars. I appreciate that I don’t have to tweak my base recipes, which isn’t always the case with plant-based protein powders.Flavor & SweetnessThe Vanilla Bean flavor is rich and decadent without being overpowering. Since it’s sweetened with stevia, I find the sweetness level to be well-balanced—not too strong or artificial-tasting. If you’re used to sugar-laden protein powders, this might be an adjustment, but I personally enjoy the natural taste.Final ThoughtsThis is an excellent choice if you’re looking for a high-quality, plant-based protein powder that’s easy to mix, works well in recipes, and contains clean ingredients. Whether you’re drinking it as a shake or using it in baked goods, it performs exceptionally well.✔ Pros:✅ Blends smoothly, no clumping✅ Versatile—great for shakes & baking✅ Clean ingredients, non-GMO, no artificial additives✅ Balanced sweetness with stevia✅ Rich vanilla flavor⚠ Considerations:❌ If you’re not used to stevia, the taste might take some getting used to❌ Vanilla flavor is strong—great if you love vanilla, but it might overpower delicate recipesWould I buy this again? Absolutely! It’s now a staple in my kitchen for both drinks and baking.

Doll it up a bit and it’s great.
A bit gritty, but not so much that I wouldn’t get it again. Mixes easily, but flavor needed tweaking. For the liquid, I always make sure I have leftover coffee and flavored creamer in the fridge and use that. I don’t care for products with Stevia, but in this Orgain product, the flavor is almost imperceptible. The calories are not an issue; I needed dairy free, and I have no issue with digestibility. I think it’s a tad expensive for a not-ready-made product. I intend to purchase it again, but I’ll trade off with my regular protein shakes.Tip: I f you mix it up and leave it for a while, it gets a little thicker, more like a real shake. I’ll bet if you blended it with ice replacing some liquid, it would be very nice.

Tasty protein powder
It's surprisingly yummy! I like how little ingredients there are. The flavor is nice and could go good with front, greens, or chocolate peanut butter. I also like that it doesn't get too thick. The only thing I didn't expect is that you need two scoops for a serving. But all in all I like it.

My Favorite Protein!
This is my favorite protein, I will buy it over and over again! I have yet to find something comparable, and I've tried. It is smooth, great flavor, not frothy like whey can be. I use it in smoothies with frozen fruit, some added seeds, sometimes I add spinach for an added healthy benefit. Very Tasty. Just try it!

Love this protein powder
I am a huge fan Orgain Organic vegan protein powder. It taste really good when mixed with frozen fruit. It doesn’t taste like protein powder at all. I usually do two scoops of this powder every morning with frozen fruit and that is breakfast for me. It mixes and well but you have to add it into the water or liquid first so that it’s not clumpy. So far my favorite flavor has been the vanilla. I use water when I use this powder and again it does not taste like protein powder. I mainly taste the fruit with a hint of vanilla.

Don't be afraid to experiment
I bought this as a meal replacement. I also do 16:8 fasting, and this is my first meal every day. I needed something that was always at ready and also good for me. Otherwise my hunger would drive me to eat bad things. For my "base" recipe, I mix 2 scoops with 12oz almond milk, 100 g frozen banana slices, and 40 g avocado. It's around 400 calories, but it fills me up and keeps me full for hours.Taste:I noticed an aftertaste from the sweetener the first couple of times I tried it, but I hadn't at that point come up with my recipes. I don't know if I'm used to the taste now, or if something I add masks that. But I don't notice it anymore. To be honest, I'm not crazy about just the base recipe. I need more flavors, and I also need variety to keep from getting tired of it. So I have created little flavor pouches that I assemble ahead of time to throw in with it. The packs I assemble range from negligible calories (mocha) to around 100.Mocha (2 tsp instant coffee) - add to vanilla or chocolatePeanut Butter / Chocolate Peanut Butter (3 tbsp pbfit powder) - add to vanilla or chocolateBlueberry (1/2 cup blueberries) - add to vanilla or chocolateChocolate Orange (1 orange, 1 tsp special dark cocoa powder) - add to chocolateGingerbread (1 tsp ginger powder, ½ tsp cinnamon, 1 tbsp molasses) - add to vanillaSnickerdoodle (1 tsp cinnamon, 2 tbsp pbfit powder) - add to vanillaMixed Berry (½ cup frozen mixed berries) - add to vanilla or chocolatePeaches and Cream (1 cup peaches) - add to vanillaStrawberries and Cream / Chocolate Strawberry (1 cup strawberries) - add to vanilla or chocolateTexture:I have always used a blender, and I've never experienced graininess. To me, this feels and tastes just like a milkshake, which is awesome because it has stopped my cravings for actual ice cream. Ice cream has always been my biggest weakness. At work, I use a $17 blender: Hamilton Beach (51103) Personal Blender with Travel Lid, Single Serve, For Shakes & Smoothies, Black. It works fine for this. You don't have to have a great blender. The key for me is to prepare ahead of time. When I get the container in, I go ahead and measure it all into snack size pouches I can split between work and home. I also freeze avocados in individual servings. I slice the avocado meat into a snack size baggie and then smash it and freeze it. When I'm ready to throw it in, I microwave it for 10 seconds. I do the same for spinach. There are instructions online that go into how to blanch and freeze spinach for smoothies. I add spinach randomly when I feel like it, since it doesn't alter the flavor or texture. But I've found that if I add it to every smoothie, I get tired of the smoothies faster. Not sure why.Do your research, play around, and you'll probably figure out what works for you.

Plant based protein that won't upset your stomach!
Finally found a plant based protein that works for me! I've had so many issues with other plant based ones, including Vega, because they all ended up hurting my stomach, but this one hasn't given me any reactions! On top of that, it tastes good and is very easy to blend into smoothies. I even add it to my morning oatmeal to give me a protein boost. Highly recommend!

Great taste
The protein powder is delicious, and, more importantly, not too sweet.

待望のバニラ味
アメリカでいつも使っていたものと同じ商品が買えて嬉しい。もう少し安くなれば…と思うけどドル円レートや材料費高騰で難しいかな。
