Works the same for 1/3 of the price!
After reading the reviews, I was ready for the possibility this generic brand may not fit properly (without gaps seen in other reviews) or have leakage. But I was willing to take the risk for the bargain since these are a 3rd of the price of the Samsung Certified Filters. I'm pleasantly surprised! It works and functions the same! No gaps, no leaks, fits perfectly. The installation was very easy (*uploaded video*) and took less than 2 minutes. >>> I would note, when installing the new filter, you do need to first push-in and turn (righty tighty) with a bit of strength to get past the air pressure. Taking the old filter out was easy, just turn (lefty loosey), and the filter pops right out. Per the instructions, I ran the water for 5 minutes after the new installation. I also emptied the ice tray and fridge handheld water pitcher for best results. The water already tastes cleaner so the filter quality is definitely there. BUT only time will tell if it lasts the advertised 6months. Although, I'm not very worried since other reviews seem to come to the consensus that it performs equally to the Samsung version. Great buy for anyone with the Samsung fridge. I've included pictures of my Certified Samsung Filter, Fridge, and Fridge Model number/details for anyone wanting to know if their current filter is compatible :) >>> UPDATE <<< Purchased Oct 2024 Update April 2026 So happy with my purchase and while I was purchasing another bulk pack, I decided to update here in case anyone was wondering. The Generic performs the same as the name brand! Not had a single issue AT ALL.

Un remplacement parfait pour mon réfrigérateur
Très satisfait de ce filtre à eau ICEPURE. Il s'installe facilement et correspond parfaitement au modèle d'origine. L'eau a un meilleur goût, sans odeur désagréable, et le débit reste excellent. C'est une alternative fiable et économique au filtre d'origine Samsung.

Incorrect description, not compatible with the product
The description said the item was compatible with the product I had, but when I opened it, it was not and the description was incorrectly tag to the product. See the attached image. Also, the used third-party courier service, not Amazon, which creates a hell. A lot of hassle when returning.
