Where are the berries grown and processed?

On the bag it simply says "Product of China." If you go to the navitasnaturals website and look up this product, it will tell you the product comes from Ningxia, China. Some online sources say berries from Ningxia or Xinjang China are superior due to soil characteristics and there have been some problems with sale of berries not truly goji berries coming from Tibet or Himalayas

This bag of goji's i bought where hard and crunchy, theres no place to contact seller before i review it?

They are crunchy. It softens in your mouth in your saliva.

Very high sodium? 160g in a berry??? DEF NOT good idea to give to any animals…

Good question! Goji berries are valued for the mineral content - they contain over 20 different trace minerals! This includes a natural, food based sodium. One serving (30g) provides 7% DV, along with 15% DV for iron, 8% DV for potassium, and 2% DV for calcium. Please note there is NO added sodium in our Goji Berries, only what is naturally present in the fruit. -Kali @ Navitas Organics

Can you blend this powder into smoothies?

Our Goji Berries are whole, dried berries, but they can mix quite nicely into smoothies with a countertop blender! We also offer a Goji Berry Powder if you're looking for an even easier incorporation. -Kali @ Navitas Organics
