Really clear top end
Installed these in my 2021 LP Standard. Immediately I noticed the clarity over the stock Burstbucker pickups. I can hear every note in a chord, even under gain. I liked these so well that I’ve ordered a gold set for my new 62 SG. I play through several Marshall plexi amps, so there’s nowhere to hide. These pickups tell the truth.

Amazing tone, versatile, and gorgeous
Replaced the stock bridge PU in my Fender Player Plus strat, green burst. The gold is strikingly beautiful, but the real kicker is the tones. Played it through a Fender Twin Reverb and alternated pedals: Tumnus Deluxe, Blues Driver, Big Muff, Rat, and a Waza Fuzz. Sustain for days, tight bass with mids and highs that cut through, pinch harmonics are a breeze on any string. Hit the boost and it slams the amp into gritty but defined distortion. I can't recommend enough.

Makes a crappy guitar sound better
I have an Epiphone Explorer, one of the korina versions, and it is kind of a crappy guitar, but I use it for the look, I play in a tribute band and needed something to match my character, well I need other guitars too, so I didn't want to pay for the Gibson version...anyway, the guitar with the factory pickups sounds like crap, hollow and thin, so I threw one of these in and it helped, sounds better now, still not as good as a Gibson, but the wood on this guitar sucks, it's laminated korina over some mystery wood, so maybe this isn't such a good guitar to review this pickup, but still, like the title says, makes a crappy guitar sound better.

Great Tone and Quality
I thought I already reviewed this product however I'll say it again. For Rock, Blues or Jazz they have the exact tone I was looking for. I watched tons of videos on YouTube before I pulled the trigger and purchased these and they did not disappoint. A little pricey to be sure but you get what you pay for.

35 K ohms is the perfect median for what I like to play
Exactly what I was looking for in a bridge pick-up. With my amp cranked or even close (the way I play most of the time) it hits the nail on the head. The pickups in my guitar are around 13 or 14 K ohms and WAY too gainy for me. This pick-up at 8.35 K ohms is the perfect median for what I like to play... installed in the bridge position of a L.P. style (black/gold hardware Dean Cadillac) guitar.
