My 6 year old Granddaughter recieved a traditional jewelry making kit perfect for her age but not my 4 year old Granddaughter... I found this set and she absolutely loved it... Totally age appropriate... Easy to use and it's reusable too! Kept her entertained for over 20min and if you know that age short attention spans... Great creative toy

These pop beads are adorable and very durable. Bought them for my niece and they’re very thick, the little ends will hold up to her playing with them for a long while.

This craft kit is a wonderful way to bring out the creativity in a child with brightly colored beads in many distinct shapes and sizes. The beads easily pop together to make chains for necklaces. The 275 pieces come in a handy, heavy plastic container with an easy to open screw top and handle for transporting. The kit also has preformed bracelet and ring components that make it super easy to just add a few beads and other similar items and "viola" a lovely and vibrant piece of childrens' jewelry in minutes.I personally love the variety of colors and shapes of all the beads which when "popped" together make lovely strands for necklaces and bracelets. It is not only a great tool for creativity, but also enables the child to discover what colors he or she prefer as well as being a tool which helps the child figure out how to connect pieces properly and with their own flair. (Some of the beads are a bit more complicated than others and require more developed thought processes.).My only problem is that I wish the tiny book that hangs around the top of the container was bigger and had more ideas for making various styles of jewelry. The child is really on their own, and for the younger children, let's say four to six years old, it might be beneficial, especially if there is not an adult around, to have some kind of guide to follow until they get used to using the beads in their own individual ways.I would recommend this Jewelry Kit, but I would also say that the younger children need some supervision when using this product. I truly wish there was an instruction pamphlet that came with this kit.

My kids are various ages ranging from 8 to toddler and they ALL enjoy these. They are easy enough for my 2 year old to use, but entertaining enough for my bigger kids too. I would put them on par with legos as far as developmental skills.

These are cute but not for a toddler. Most pieces are too hard to pop together. She gets frustrated and doesn't want to play with them. A lot of the pieces were also much smaller than expected, like m&m size.

We bought this as a gift for my neice. But this is a gift we bought nearly a decade ago for our own daughters. They have played with these beads off and on over all the years. Making bracelets, rings, necklaces and all sorts of things! Recently my younger daughter got them out with her friends to imagine something new with them! They created people!I will admit, I don’t enjoy seeing them spilled out or finding stray beads around the house, but this has been a great quality toy for my kids for so many years!
