WOW what and amazing blade for the Price!
wow what and amazing blade for the price. i compared this blade with a $60 30T glue line blade and a Irwin Marathon ripper. All blades were used to rip oak as it was what i had in hand for this quick test. First the Irwin is the thinnest blade i used at 0.095" and maybe you can get one sharpening out of it but its basicly a throw-away. I cut a lot of lumber with this blade and did a fine job for fast cutting. For rough sheeting and and ripping lumber its a beast but for the test it did leave a lot of secondary cut tooth marks on the wood. That being said, i concluded that this blade does only what its made for. Economical rip blade for rough and fast lumber cuts. Being so thin and fast it should get more attention than what it does but also should be priced at $20. Its not sexy or flashy at all but does a great job for its intended purpose at under $30 for a 10" table saw blade. Second blade i used for this quick test was the Diablo 30T glue-line blade. its selling point is that its a ripping blade that produces a smooth side wall cut that leaves no teeth marks and wood can be glued up off of the saw. i would say over all it does a great job of that. it produces smooth cut with very few secondary teeth marks present on the wood. i think if i pushed the wood harder along the fence or turned the saw off before the cut was finished, there would be no teeth marks. the blade did seem to feed a "hair" (little) slower than the Irwin Marathon but cut quality was dramatically improved and i would say the advertised glue line joint is correct. I imagine the hair slower cut speed was due to the slight increase in teeth count and slight thickness in blade width, at .105" (still considered a thin kerf). The CMT was up next, with 24T and thin kerf at .105 which was same as the Diablo. i suspected since this blade was a standard ripping blade that the cut quality would be in between the Irwin and Diablo. i was totally surprised that while having the speed of the Irwin the cut quality was actually better than the glue line Diablo! what an amazing blade! the added bonus is that on the back of the blade there are sharpening angles and its made to be sharpened multiple times. At a price of exactly the same as the Irwin at under $30 this blade is a total STEAL and my new go to brand for all my blades including circular and miter saws. Forget the more expensive blades, they are not worth it when this one is so good at this price! will not be disappointed.

Hard to go wrong for the price and the quality!
Rips through anything with ease. Was having some issues ripping Oak with the other blade I had. Swapped to this and it made my life so much easier. Comes with a great sharp edge, fairly thin kerf and works extremely well. Didn't notice any vibration with the cuts and have used it on both hardwoods (Walnut/Coffeewood/Oak/Cherry) and soft woods (Pine). LOVE CMT Orange blades!

Amazing blade!
I own a Professional woodworking shop and have used too many brands of blades to mention. This RIP blade is literally the best I have ever used. Ripping 2 inch walnut like butter. For the money, you won't find a better blade!

For the price, it's OK.
I really wanted to like this blade, but it falls short of expectations. I've always used Diablo blades and have heard good things about CMT. I was looking to get a little bit better quality blade but didn't want to jump head first into a Freud or Forrest blade. The CMT blade has a slightly thicker plate and tips than the Diablo plus the ability to resharpen. It amounted to about 1.5oz of extra weight to the blade and I was hoping that this would help improve the blade balance and reduce vibration. I was not expecting a perfect glue line but I did expect a higher cut quality. First job was ripping down about 50BF of 1.5" maple into cutting board strips. The blade struggled and seemed dull, it felt more like a moderately used Diablo blade. The vibration was far, far worse than I expected. I then tested it on some scraps of 1" beech and red oak which produced a slightly better cut quality but had to be done at about half of my normal feed rate, still lots of vibration. It ripped through 3/4" scrap pine with no problem which is to be expected. Even with my industrial dust collector running, it threw about double the amount of chips and dust back at me, the blade balance is the main culprit but there may be something to the angle of the tips as well. I purchased this blade while it was on sale at the same price as a Diablo. At the sale price, I'm ok with using it until it gets dull but I won't bother sending it to be sharpened and just get another Diablo or jumping up to Freud. I'm also having doubts about the longevity of the tips remaining sharp. I do not believe it is anywhere close to the quality for paying the $15 more at full price. So if you're cutting hardwoods it probably isn't the blade for you but for homeowner use ripping ply and pine, it should be ok as long as you aren't looking for high precision.

Estupenda sierra.
