Truck-Lite (97661 Mirror Head

So far the mirror is fine and quality good. However, I would NOT have ordered this one had I know that the mounting arm is only a little over 3 inches high. On a '96 Ford factory swing arm mount this mirror WILL NOT fold to have the mirror close to the window (above the factory swing arm mount). It can ONLY be mounted to position the mirror fully extended away from the door (trailer tow position)I wish this one had included some measurement specs in the Amazon site.The same merchant does provide them with this one:Truck-Lite (97662 Mirror Head), AND it is tall enough to be mounted above the swing arm.

Nice size mirrors mounted on stock 95 f250 braces did move going down road bought 4 internal lock washers from Lowes for $3just throw there washers away haven't moved since you do have to drill the holes out a little bigger on brackets for bolts to fit they look great and can actually see around trailer

Perfect march to my old mirror on my 1988 f 350

I was nervous about getting this as there were some bad reviews, there are 2 different ones one has a 4 inch bar the other has a 5 inch bar, I got the 4 inch, as it was the same size as the old one, seems to work so far. The bolt was way to short that came with it, other then that it was fine. I was able to tighten it down and not have it blow around in the wind, like some reviews showed. The ones that had that problem had the longer 5 inch bar, not sure if that matters or if I just got lucky.

1996 F-350 widebody ambulance 4 point mount works great looks like new! Arm is slightly adjustable. New bolt too short for my mounting but old bolt worked fine no complaints. Love it.

The threaded slug in the tube is not secured good enough to get enough torque on the bolt to tighten the bolt tight enough to have enough friction to to keep the mirror secure.

Was a way better quality than the ones I get from the parts stores around town, just wish I could get just the arms though. Had to get another set of blind spot mirrors because I already has some on my other new mirrors.

I could not find a passenger side replacement mirror for my 1984 Ramcharger that matched the drivers side mirror so I bought a pair of these Truck-Lite mirrors to have matching mirrors on my truck. They are larger than the originals which is actually a benefit. They look great and the stainless steel housing will last for years and keep there shiny appearance.
