Good sprayer
It’s really to soon to write a review on a product that needs to be used for a while in order to evaluate it. After a week of use, it’s spraying garden chemicals in the greenhouse, and still working fine.

good for lots of water-based solutions used around the house, including fertilizers for house plants
I bought these for water and fertilizer for my orchid plant. It is a Vanda, with roots that are not buried in soil, so I have to spray the roots directly. I have a 20-20-20 fertilizer for weekly use (to promote green growth), a 10-30-20 fertilizer to promote blossoms (will be awhile before I need it), and then just plain water for daily use in the third bottle. These bottles work well for my purposes. I mixed the 20-20-20 fertilizer with water and put it in one. It hasn't settled or crystallized anywhere, and the trigger mechanism is still great even after several weeks. Similarly, the bottle with plain water is fine. The caps screw on as they should. I don't get leaks but then, I also don't turn these upside down (knocking them over on their sides and quickly righting them seems fine). These bottles are HDPE (plastic #2) and recyclable. HDPE is going to be compatible with most chemicals found around the house. I'll list some of the incompatible ones (I checked a chart) just so you don't dissolve your bottle: basically, avoid glacial acetic acid, halogenated hydrocarbons (like chloroform), esters (including ethyl acetate, which is in non-acetone nail polish remover), aromatics like benzene, toluene, and xylene, long chain hydrocarbons like hexane, some petroleum-based solvents (like kerosene and petroleum ether), concentrated mineral acids and aqua regia, dry cleaning solvents, THF, turpentine, and similar compounds. (Granted, most of those come from chemical supply companies and will not even be easily available to the home user.) If you are unsure, search for "HDPE chemical compatibility" and there are a ton of free lists.Anyway, I suspect most people are going to use this for water-based solutions around the house -- vinegar or lemon juice for cleaning, dilute bleach, fertilizer, soapy water, weed killer, ammonia, etc., and it is fine for all of those. (I have only tried the spray mechanism with water or dilute water-based solutions. I am not sure how well it would work with oil-based solutions but you should probably avoid those in this bottle anyway.)In the end, these were just what I needed and I would buy the same ones again if I had it to do over.
