We can advise that Shaper is now known as Sculpt Hair Shaper; it has had a packaging update and a change of hold rating but is otherwise the same product as before. That is to say that we have made no changes to the formulation whatsoever.

However, If you are looking for an alternative, you may wish to consider trying, Matte Hed Mouldable. This is a medium hold styling crème that gives definition without weighing hair down:

If i am reading the ingredients and the old formula has different ingredients, why are the manufacturers lying to people? the new product has paraffin

It’s not the same product at all. This new stuff is nowhere near as good

Try "Fish" texturising cream from Boots. doesn't last quite as well but a sensible price!

We can advise that  Sculpt Hair Shaper; has had a packaging update and a change of hold rating but is otherwise the same product as before. That is to say that we have made no changes to the formulation whatsoever.

Regarding the hold rating-we have changed our rating scale over our whole range. The scale previously ranged from 1-15 and now ranges from 1-10. Hair Shaper previously sat at hold factor ‘10’ but is now at ‘4’. However, this is equivalent to the factor ‘10’-that is to say the number has changed but the physical hold is the same. To reiterate, we have made no changes whatsoever to the formulation and it is exactly the same as before.
