Rush Hour 2 (DVD)

Rush Hour 2 took Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker from Los Angeles to Hong Kong where they went up against Triad leader John Lone and his lieutenant Zhang Ziyi. Just like the first Rush Hour this movie is all about the Chan and Tucker having fun. You see that in scenes like Chan and Tucker singing the Beach Boys together to and then arguing about touching a Chinese man’s stereo to Tucker singing Michael Jackson at a Karaoke bar full of triad gangsters. I think each movie in this series got better and better with Rush Hour 2 being a lot funnier than the first.

One of my favorite duos!! Comedy and action packed from beginning to end!! A must watch!

Loved all 3 rush hours . Wish there was a 4th one

Not as funny as RH1, but INFINITELY better than RH3.How do I not spoil this? Well The roles are reversed. Chris Tucker has to help Jackie Chan this time and some of the same jokes are done, only reversed. These two OBVIOUSLY had a LOT of fun making this, and that makes this movie fun. It is like Jackie gets to unwind a bit and Christ gets to martial arts it up a bit. If The Fifth Element as a 5-star Chris Tucker movie and Rush Hour was a 5 star Chris Tucker movie this is a solid 4 star and RH 3 is a 3 star. The opening scene is one of the best in the movie--don't let anyone interrupt or talk through it.

This is the perfect companion to the first Rush Hour movie I bought for my son.

Good sequel to the first Rush Hour. Typical Jackie Chan movie with a little extra comedy!

Watching Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker will never get old. Quote this movie on a daily basis!

I first saw this in 2001, when it was originally released. I thoroughly enjoyed it, but I didn't think that it was quite as good as the first film. Something seemed to be lacking in this sequel. I don't think that the action scenes were quite as good in this and the film wasn't as sharp or as funny, either. It's still worth seeing, but I will always prefer the first film to this. This is still worlds better than the awful third film, though. Four stars from me.

Rush Hour 1, 2 and 3 is so good! The chemistry between Christ Tucker and Jackie-Chan is just unreal and so funny it always makes my day and cheers me up. We need more films like this!

The first film was good. This is a pile of pants.I am not easily offended, but many of the gags are just racist. Not funny, just racist.This would be a wonderful film for a viewer without a brain.
