Good as a Personal Item for any kind of domestic and international flight, my favorite!!
This is my go to travel pack for domestic and international travels everywhere. Security is great, ain't nobody gonna swipe something from this while you're wearing it. A few things to note: Zippers lock on opposite sides of pack, not necessarily that bad, you get used to which side to lock on after a while. The shoulder straps were rather long, I had to cut them, then use flame to sear the ends (they are made of something like nylon and melt). They looked good afterwards. The water bottle "pouch" is rather small and only one one side, the zipper on mine did break probably because I was using a bottle bigger than it was designed for. It's good for a very small, disposable water bottle the kind you can find at airports. And finally, the external, vertical secured slot (for passports, face masks, etc.) is tricky to open. Ain't NO ONE gonna open that thing easy, including YOU. Otherwise, like I said, this is my go to pack. Security is great, it's comfortable and a good size for crap you'd need for a personal item (it's small enough for shoving under the seat in front of you so you can also bring a carry-on bag). The best thing, really though is it's interior design. Wow, tons of places to put crap. 2 zippered pouches (I use these for medicines, mints, loose coins, my battery brick, laptop cables, etc.), one has a key chain+flashlight. Good for your house keys and finding crap on overnight flights. Lots of card slots, some RF-protected. A laptop sleeve that works well with my 13-inch Macbook Pro (including it's own protective cover). Space galore. I shove a hoodie, change of clothes in there, maybe a good novel.

Nice, sleek backpack
I tried out many backpacks before settling on this one, which was the least expensive of those I considered. It is a nice looking, sleek backpack with lots of room and a padded laptop pocket. I wanted it mainly for the theft protection as I was travelling to a place where we have encountered pickpockets before. No, this does not keep anyone from stealing your bag, but it does keep out casual and opportunistic pick pockets - the most usual type. I took it on the plane as my carry-on. It fits fine under the seat, but I put it in the overhead bin because it contained laptop, coat, three days of things I will need if my bags get lost, and other things I did not need on the long flight. My only complaint is that the straps are ridiculously large and heavy-duty for a pack this small, and the chest strap is just about at my neck. But it works fine, is light, nice looking and has theft deterrance, so it is all good.

Don’t travel without one
Great anti-theft backpack. Great quality, smooth zippers. Smart convenient theft resistant features. Took mine on a two week trip in some of the most theft saturated tourist cities without an issue. The backpavk does send a message of inconvenience to thieves. It’s large enough for the plane ride, holding change of clothes, electronic, etc. does not require you to pay extra on budget airlines. And makes for a small looking backpack on day trips yet holds plenty. Great quality purchase and value. Especially like the small led light to see deep in the exterior zip pocket and RFID proof inner pocket. This is a smart traveller bag.

Need to reinforce top handle strap
This is a great backpack with plenty of space and organization. The back pass thru strap definitely a good touch for my rolling luggage. Good internal space to fit in what you need and the sternum strap helped with secure carrying. 2 things to improve - top grab handle needs to be stronger and reinforced. Seams started to come apart just in the first leg of my overseas trip. 2nd - outer organization pocket could use dual zipper instead of 1 u shaped zipper for quicker access.Water bottle pocket was not super usable for a bottle if the bag is maxed out but good for quick and small items to have handy.Travelon is a great brand for security and build in their products. I own a few of their items. This would be more for a casual traveler vs a road warrior needing rugged bags to withstand the wear and tear of travel.

Perfect size and comfortable
Perfect for my everyday supplies and medical equipment for vacations. I need to carry an oxygen concentrator, extra batteries, CPAP, and a Nebulizer. All fit well with room for an umbrella, water bottle, and odds and ends. No problem with zippers, clips or seams.

after trip review: the pros & cons
I was looking for an "anti-theft" backpack and after reading the reviews (good and bad), I bought this pack for a trip with lots of walking. I did not like it as much as I wanted to and likely would not buy it again.PROS: 1) good quality so far, 2) good size, 3) plenty of interior pockets, including two zipped (one with keychain clip) 4) zip open side pocket for a small water bottle, 5) back luggage strap, 6) sternum strapCONS: 1) shoulder straps are too difficult to adjust once you are wearing the pack, 2) cannot tighten the straps enough for comfort and to keep the pack close to my body. the padded part of the straps is just too long, 3) sternum strap loosens too easily, 4) middle/medium-sized zip compartment has only one zipper; you've got to close it all the way or items might fall out, 5) if you've got the pack slipped over a luggage handle, the shoulder straps dangle and flop around unless you somehow tie them together, 6) main compartment has 2 zippers, but to "lock" them, you've got to clip one zipper pull to the base of the 2nd zipper pull; that can be awkward.

Feeble zipper
The appearance and design is great but I didn’t even get through my first one week trip before the side pocket zipper broke and is now useless. I’m disappointed because otherwise it is a great air travel carry on. Someone put a great deal of thought into this bag’s functionality but the zipper is a fatal flaw preventing me from giving 5 stars.
