Magnetic Torpedo Level, 3 Bubble Spirit Level Magnetic Ruler Level Measuring Instrument Tool (9" level)

I do a lot of woodwork and although I have a drill press, I sometimes need to use my hand drill. When I do use it, I need to make the holes as level as possible. So mounting these on the drill really helps do that. I put a long bit in a vise. leveled it, put the drill on and glued these on the drill. Works great.My only complaint is that I wish they were just a little thinner. They stick out a little bit, but for the price, if one does get knocked off I have plenty to replace it with.

Did the job for me to determine whether a hired carpenter’s trim work job was level or not. It kept looking slightly off level to me. The last two short trim boards he put up were in tight spots where my longer torpedo level just could not fit. I tried to ignore the “off level” appearance but could see nothing but the harder I tried. We decided my son would later attach crown molding to the large bookcase structure we made from numerous Ikea Billy bookcases. This gave me time to order this shorter torpedo level from Amazon. I was put off by some reviews claiming their received unit was not accurate. When mine arrived I compared it with my Stanley torpedo level in a couple of spots round the house for accuracy. Check!Then I checked the trim boards on my bookcases. Right! Each of the two boards are off level in just the amount and direction my eyes judge them to be. I almost hate that I can see what’s off level or off balance when others swear they can not!! This level does feel cheap but it arrived fast and did the trick just fine at a great price.

Since you asked so politely for a review I am induced into compliance. I shall apologize first because I am compelled to make a funny. These darling little yellow levels are so cute I’m sure they are also quite accurate as the bubble has no choice in a spherical enclosure to seek it’s highest apogee. But I have cause to ponder —— if I freeze two of them while resting at a 45 degree angle. Might I use them temporarily as goofy eyeballs on my Ken doll ? . Or will I irreparably damage them ?

Cheaply made of plastic and shipped loose in an envelope, no branding, no packaging. I got this to use with our portable RV thinking it would a faster and better option than what we did in the past, and let me tell you I wasted so much time trying to get this to help me level our RV that I thought I might be doing something wrong. Every time I adjusted the jacks or repositioned the plates I could stand back and visually see the RV was NOT level. Finally I decided to check the accuracy of this level against my square bar level and that's where I discovered it wasn't me using it incorrectly or the ground we are on but the level itself is off and inaccurate. Needless to say I'm somewhat frustrated and now we're on vacation and I will need to use 2 of my bar levels like we were before or just do it by eye little by little.

I bought this level to use in my new RV to help me level it. I wanted something small and light weight. The magnet on it is super helpful as it attaches directly on the tongue of the trailer and doesn't move! I have taken my trailer out twice since purchasing it and have used the Magnetic Torpedo Level both times. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this product again if needed.

I use the LevelMatePRO primarily; however, I needed a backup, “old school” level to verify whether my rv trailer is level. This was also a replacement for a previous one with adhesive backing that fell off the trailer. I simply place this on the a frame to double check the level from side-to-side and then front-to-back. I didn’t bother screwing it into the frame or using adhesive. Just set it down, check, remove, and store in tool bag. I do wish it was magnetic, but that’s not a necessity.

Items shipped as described, and in a timely fashion.I used these bubble levels to replace the broken/dried up ones in my tripods. They worked out great. These are good for adding bubbles to my camera gear that needs leveling. Sometimes the designers don’t consider the time it takes to level the equipment. Having a built-in level saves precious time. I’ll drill a hole or just superglue these onto the gadget that needs it.
