Invacare Etude HC Bed Lifting Support Trapeze Kit, ELSP-2093

am I missing a part?? Just have the pole with the triange hanging from one end. No other pole or attachents. How are you supposed to attach it? Was I shorted some parts??

Item is helpful if it was advertised as needing two brackets needed for attachment. No instructions were available. Poor advertisement

This is only for the bed frame manufacturers frame. It won't work on other beds.

Does the job, is very very sturdy and extremely well attached to the bed with no shaking etc, but I did feel the handles are a bit small. In the picture it's shown in perspective and in real life it's just rectangular not a parallelogram. I bought an extra set, 4 handles in total, two for the upper bed and 2 for the lower. Once you have a mattress on the bed the top portion of the handle rises up above the mattress but the lower half/second window pretty much is obscured by the bed. Also if you attach them to the bed frame and you raise the head of the bed the mattress almost completely obscures the railings so they are then not of much use, but I didn't see a very easy way to attach them to the part of the bed that raises up. I would say they are helpful for keeping a person in bed when the bed is flat, and when you are using some pillows alongside them.
