The only thing I use
I have a victory octane and if I use any other oil it doesn't shift right. It's a bit pricey but you get good oil, a filter and 2 crush washers. FYI if you have an octane or scout, they have 2 drain plugs. Make sure you pull both out.

Greta value, one kit has it all
I have a 2022 Indian Scout (and am a motorcycle shop owner for more than 40 years). I recommend using factory-designated parts and fluids if they are competitively priced, and frankly, I prefer to just make one uniform purchase for everything I need to do oil service. Factory oil viscosity makes finding alternatives a bit of a challenge anyway, so get this (and change oil at least every 6K! (the factory 10K service is a very bad idea, likely encouraged by EPS.enviroment... not motor manufacturers.

Turn key oil change
OEM kit in OEM packaging for less than the dealer would sell it to me for. Comes with everything you need INCLUDING WASHER. I wasn’t sure if it did or not until opening the box and was happy to see it is truly a full kit. Easy to do, drain plugs on the bottom right behind kick stand and oil filter right behind radiator. Done in no time

Every thing as advertised.
If you think that a washer is missing, check under the flap of the box. Everything was as promoted. I did get a inexpensive funnel so it was easy to put in the new oil.

Beats Paying the Dealer to Change It
First off, complaining about the price is just not being realistic. It's not any cheaper to put out the effort of sourcing compatible oil and filer plus the crush washers. Second, for most riders it is a once a year job. Are you going to go through the pain of sourcing similar products individually for a probably less than $10 savings once a year? Not me. Another reviewer suggested making sure the drain bolts are very tight. NO. Too many people have stripped the engine case threads doing that (nightmare). Indian calls for 15 ft lb torque on those bolts which is too high. That's dry torque. These bolts are not dry when you change the oil. That requires LESS torque. Remember you are using new crush washers each change. That allows you to just snug them up. I don't normally use a torque wrench on them but I did to see what the actual ft lbs I been using for years was. With new crush washers 10-12 lbs will work fine & they won't leak. And you won't have $$$ repairs for stripped threads.

All you need
Oil change made simple, and costs less than resourcing the parts and oil yourself. Came with all the oil you need for the ftr 1200 unlike some other comments say, it is enough oil you have to start the engine after you poured in all four quarts. Just make sure you tighten the two drain plugs down real snug and the oil filter tight tight, managed to back off slightly due to myself not cranking it down extra tight. New oil made the engine and gearbox nice and smooth, the gearbox can be finicky if left unchanged for a while. Will probably buy again.
