Do the sides of the slot come in to hold the slice of bread when the lever is pushed down?

Sorry no Video. Difficult with the Toaster. Yes, as with all Toasters the sides come in as the leaver is pressed down. We are finding it an excellent Toaster as you can put frozen bread in, press the snowball, and it toasts as if the bread is not Frozen!! Ben

If you're only toasting 1 slice in 1 slot, and you push down one of the handles, does it heat only 1 slot or 2 out of the 4 slots?

It heats 2 slots. There are just 2 handles to push down, i.e. each handle operates 2 slots.

How long is the power cord please ??

I don't have the four slice model of toaster but I should imagine the cords are the same length. The cord is 24in to the end of the wire. Hope this helps.
