Great to have this kit at home, great price.
It's a small case so it doesn't take up any space. Easy to bring with you when you travel for eventual emergencies. Great for small fixes and it comes with a good variety of thread colors, very convenient.I only had one issue with one of the needles that broke as I was using it, but considering the price and the fact that it comes with so many other needles in different sizes it was not a big deal. Still give it 5 stars.Great product for the price.

This kit is ok. I was able to use to fix button on my pants. The scissors are absolutely horrible, do not plan on using them. They are like two thin pieces of sheet metal riveted together, were unable to cut a single thread cleanly.

cheap basics, good for on-the-go
Good for small repair jobs at home or on the go. For heavy-duty fabric or a large project, you'll want to upgrade to real sewing gear. We have used the kit so far to repair a button and a separated seam on pajamas. The zipper case is very handy. When you open it, stuff doesn't fly all over like in the hard plastic cases you have to snap open. Since it looks similar to a CD wallet, I was expecting that size, but it's smaller, so it will fit nicely in a purse or travel bag. The scissors are flimsy, but at the price I am satisfied with the overall quality. The 12 colors of thread included allow pretty good matching so stitches don't stand out, but I also purchased a 24-spool pack from Singer to match more clothes more closely.

Cheap Cheap Cheap
The container that holds the needles was already cracked when I purchased it and the threads are so tiny that I really have to pull the get it off the spool. The only useful item in the whole kit was the tiny scissors. I wish I would have found this out while still in my return window. Absolutely waste of money.

Great for an emergency patch kit
Cheap but gets the job done. Comes with a lot of thread. However, the needles are kind of flimsy and one broke on me. Great for an emergency patch kit.

Works but expect junk
Junk. Scissors pivot pin sucks and scissors fell apart, most of the needle tips were too dull to penetrate the cloth of my pants i needed to sew, elastic holding threats is one band so as soon as you pull one spool out, all the others pop out, too and fall out (could be fixed with individual loops of elastic) . It works overall for a 7 dollar sewing kit but very very subpar. Go to Target and get a Singer Sewing Repair Kit for 3 bucks that works better and stores just as easily

Such a nice repair kit!
I was very happy when I received this sewing kit. The zippered case is perfect- way better than those plastic ones that crack or pop open, spilling everywhere at the worst possible time.The contents are great; everything you need. I love that there are so many colors of thread and that it comes with needle threaders, buttons and a couple of nice pins. I've bought kits in the past that didn't have them! This one is just the right size to go in your purse or stay in your car's glove box. I'm going to buy a couple more to give to family members and friends.

Pretty good kit
Pretty good kit. The needles are cheap and one has broke while i was sewing a small hole in my pants though
